I'm going to try it - I never would have thought to use carrots to replace rice, but sometimes I get tired of how heavy it is with avocados as the main bulk. Thanks! I wish I could find a raw sushi recipe that was really good. I've tried cauliflo...

I use carrots! I put them in the food processor and process until they are small grains. Then I add rice vinegar and agave and put them on a plate and into the dehydrator. The dehydrator causes the liquid to go away and softens the carrot "rice"....

We use a natural dish detergent and water it down a lot (for using on produce) and we spray it on the bag. Then we massage it in and it gets all bubbly and foamy. Then we rinse it. Sometimes we have to turn it inside out and do it again if there w...

master cleanse #2: day 1

This time I'll be posting updates on my cleanse the day of instead of the next day because last time I got super confused! I guess I'm easily mixed up.

My goals for this cleanse are:

1. Do the SWF (salt water flush) each morning and the senna tea each evening.

2. Stay on the cleanse for 15 days - o no, that cuts into thanksgiving! Whatever, not like I'll be eating most of the stuff we have for thanksgiving anyways.

Fell off. Got back on again.

Coffee, coffee, coffee and cooked lunch got me through a grey and stormy day. Put it behind me and for supper I've just prepared my first batch of completely raw hummus which I slathered liberally over crudites and finished with olive oil and spices. Le yummy.

It is much clearer for focus on enjoying the feeling of being lighter and wanting to start my day out strong. That's not to say that last night I didn't want to have the warm grille… Continue
