I have landed in San Antonio, and am ready for an awesome week of being a blushing little school girl. Today is a day of service, so, don't forget to do something for somebody today, and of course do something for YOU. Love yourself. Be happy!
HOW IS YOUR DAY 19 GOING?
day 19 is great - had my YUMMY 15 cup salad, green smoothie, carrot cashew pate. now i'm looking forward to a great dinner - possibly nori rolls or coconut curry soup.
Day 15 of my juice feast and I feel like I have a renewed sense of energy! I took a spin class was impressed that I was able to sustain! I am making it a practice to acknowledge 20 things that I am grateful for a day and as of today...I am giving up all plastic bags!
Speaking of doing something for somebody else, The Hebrew words that apply are Tzedakah Or Charitable Giving' where it states all Israel is responsible for one another.
Also a Tzaddakim [ Pious benevolent one] is one who is learned in the concepts of Torah and the writings and within them the Acts of benevolent giving' are laid out.
I have discovered that Judaism has much to say over a few thousand years about being a giver or better "Random acts of Charitable giving"<>
I think when we get to the place where we love ourselves and love the creator enough to know we have a part in this world to help one another, we then are able to love another and share the good things we learn.
Such as Raw and Living foods being the base root of our health and emotional well being.
In simple terms people have been lied to on so many levels that we aho are being drawn out to see the Light' need to know they will not always accept the revelation of healthy live we can share.
More-so our lifestyle is one of the greatest indicators of Healthy truth...Stay the course and they will eventually come to you for answers. We are on day eight of our annual RawAide flush and cleanse so we are feeling pretty good and loosing a few pounds in the interim ...:-)
Hi, would you please share in detail about San Antonio? I'm very curious about that city. Your thoughts and impressions would be interesting to hear. My work has a job opportunity down there, but I don't want to move someplace I've never been. Hey, I'm all ears bunny berry!
Hi Everyone: So far so good! I have been doing quite well on this raw journey and have also included the Master Cleanse in with that as well. (Thanks to some of you who turned me on to it!) I did a 21 day fast once before and had more energy than I would ever have imagined. (It was a water only fast after having been completely raw for over 9 months!) So, this mini cleanse is merely so I can allow the raw nutrients and juices to go to work more efficiently and faster in a cleaner environment! I have lost 10 pounds so far (since January 1) and am feeling that for once in my life, my New Year's resolution is one I am actually keeping!
As for doing for others -- When you can't do what you think you should (the word 'should' should be stricken form our vocabulary) you can always do something simple like writing a note to a stranger like "You are special!" and then tuck this little love note in a stack of hand towels in the nearest restroom, or underneath a few sheets of toilet paper -- you get the idea! Can you imagine how cool it would be to be the lucky recipient of such a little gem? Giving doesn't have to be so BIG after all!
I was a tour guide for some friends today. I took them over to my nearby border town, and gave them the "This is the best Dentist, and this is the cheap & honest Pharmacy" tour. (Some pharmacies will sell you stuff that gets confiscated at the border).
I wasn't ready to get my dental work done today (what with accident recovery and needing to buy a replacement vehicle), but I did some area research, and found someone who was actually selling the artwork of Oaxacan Indians, instead of just the cheapo $4 Mexican blankets that are now 100% acrylic. It's good to know for my own joy of being a tour guide, and I like supporting indigenous artists. I have a gorgeous wool rug on my recliner now.
Eating a big salad ... then relaxing with The Hubby. Guests have left, so we get some decompression time. We've been here in our winter place for 15 days, and we've had houseguests for 13 of those days.
Having a good day today! Had my green smoothie (red leaf, mango, banana) and 7 cup salad (cabbage, lettuce, radish, cauliflower, orange pepper, celery, olives, kelp granules, nutritional yeast, liquid gold dressing).
I did a bunch of cleaning in the kitchen. Found a bunch of old preserving jars from food my mil made years ago. I'm in the process of soaking and washing them all out. Then I'm going to buy some plastic jar lids. I organized my food, labeled and dated food in glass jars in the cabinet.
Soaked some sunflower seeds, macadamias, almonds and buckwheat groats.
Tonight I'm making Ani Phyo's Pad Thai Kelp Noodles. It will be an all raw day. I feel good that I worked on bunch of things I had been avoiding (like cleaning out drawers and cabinets.)
Going to a study on the parables tonight, so I'm bringing along a larabar, in case there is food there. :)
Bet you're lovin' our weather down here!!!!! We're just an hour north of you. For me and my client, today, I/we had yummy juicy HAMBURGERS!!! :p! For breakfast was an equally yummie smoovie and soaked cashews, sunflower seeds and big fat blackberries. I came home and took down our Christmas lights and raked our meditation garden and swept the patio. Pretty pretty housie. Hope maybe to get a chance to meet you at some point this week. Welcome to TX, y'all!!!! Sleep with the windows open if you can....
