I said I'd be back on video today, and I am back in my office after working on my laptop for the past week. Basil has been using my office, and my computer. So, it kind of smells like gym socks in here, my computer is as slow as a turtle, and for some reason I can't get the volume to work on my desktop. So, you'll have to watch a blast from the past video, but with an added bonus: it's a cooking demo!
Now excuse me while I go hunt down a husband. "Lucy! You got some 'splanin to do!"

Today I go into the kitchen and demonstrate making delicious raw cucumber wraps! Oh yes, get ready for Cutting Board Cam!
1 Extra Long Seedless Cucumber
1/2 Red Pepper
1 Avocado
Mixed Baby Greens
Flavor how you like! I used 2 drops of sesame oil, a dash of garlic powder, and a dash of salt.
DELICIOUS, and a wonderful crunchy alternative to a sandwich for lunch.
Loved this recipe back then and loving it now. Funny too because I was just thinking about this over the weekend and got supplies to whip it up. We must've been sharin brain waves Bun ;)

I love this recipe- this Video is actually the first one I saw from you on youtube and then sat for a few hours watching all the rest of your Vloggin.
Our basement aka "the mancave" often is not too great smelling after some of my hubby's friends come over and do whatever man things go on down there during football season.....thank goodness for Febreze!
My hubby is also not very good on the puter- so that is why he has his very own laptop that he can collect spyware and viruses and keep them to himself! A computer friend of ours got tired of fixing the family desktop and suggested we get him his own laptop so for his birthday/Christmas present QVC's special value of the day helped me out there. He also let us in on a secret that most of the anti virus programs out there are not really that great however the one from Kapersky updates several times a day (we got the one that covers 3 computers for less than what it costs for each computer to have norton's) and hubby has not had a problem on his laptop since.
Thanks for the blast from the past and I hope everything is back to normal for ya soon :-)
Oh lucky day! These were so good then and just so happens I've got all the fixin's in the fridge today. I must say that I am so grateful my husband surprised me last summer with a stainless steel pro style mandoline. I so love it! That's when I went on a cucumber noodle fetish for weeks! And of course it makes those cuke wraps super easy. I think I will follow Anastazia's suggestion of adding sunflower cheeze to the wrap. I always like something in a wrap to "glue" it! And dip of course!
I gotta get me a mandolin!!! It's soooo hard to slince 'em thin enough otherwise! Lol!

(I hope you enjoyed it with the sun cheeze, Tiffany! I put little chunks of red pepper in mine once, oh MY! Sooooo good!)
Wendy's mommy's hair is standin on end watching you start that cuke!
Wendy would call that HOME CUKIN'.
Someday I'll tell you how I cut off the end of my finger and my DH, Wendy's Daddy, was going to put it down the disposal!!!! AUGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!! I guess that wasn't so vegan, but he did put it in the garden, so at least something about it was organic...
