Okay, yes, it's Valentine's Day, and my Christmas tree is still decorated and lit. In fact, I just put a few new heart shaped ornaments on it today. What? i know. I know. I'm a little behind.
More importantly, these are my six funny Valentines. From left to right: Beckett, Nicolas, John, Wyatt, Basil, and Cole. One lucky Bunny.
I just checked my mailbox, and got a handful of cards from Raw Fu members, THANK YOU!! If you signed up for a card, they're on their way, too!
I love Christmas trees......they are too beautiful to take down right away....we leave ours up for most of January.....so Happy Valentine's Day....nice group of Valentine's you have there....nice house too. I like the colors your rooms are painted. I painted our living room a nice tealish/robin's egg blue, and the bedrooms, camel, porpoise gray, and leaf green (med celadon)....and want to paint the lower living room a warm golden straw color........Happy Valentine's Day to you and yours! love hugs and sweet joy. And a joke..... Hey Valentine.....wanna go steady? .eciuj enurp yrT.
I gave that to someone I had a crush on when I was in high school......lol
Happy Valentine's Day Miss Bunny! With all that testosterone floating around your house I'm betting you could use a little estrogen fix right about now. I feel for ya honey with all those boys. I only have 2 in my house and it gets to me! :)
Happy V-day, lucky Bunny! Looks like a happy moment for your group. LOVE Basil's hair!
As I sit at the computer and type this, the mantle behind me is still adorned with the stockings and greenery! And we just took the tree down 2 weekends ago and it's still lying on the deck. We had such a BEAUTIFUL tree this year. I didn't want to take it down! But ornaments were actually falling off because the branches were drooping! Even as I walk past it on the deck, I still think it looks good! I give a branch a little stroke and thank it for being our tree this past holiday!
Happy Valentine's Day to you too! Lookit all those lovin' faces!!
Day 45 - I can't believe it. Almost 1/2 way here. Where has the time gone? I began with very modest goals here - a green smoothie and a salad a day. But my goals have grown to aiming for 2 raw meals/day. Been having fun with different salad combos (Kale is my recent fave) and more veggie juices (celery, cuke, apple and ginger.) With the cold season still upon us I am trying to eat lost of ginger. My routine sure ain't perfect, but I'm making it with baby steps. Keeping the faith.
I'm struggling with overwhelm. Emotional. Adjusting to my BF's new night schedule so our normal time is upside down. Miss my kids who are on the west coast for school.
Got off track the past few days in some ways as far as food goes, but still turned to fruit and veggies as the main course. Trying to get a good night's rest.
Tomorrow is a new day. Hope to pick back up on the exercise and eat raw.
I had a Christmas tree up one year until March 1st - BUT I had a baby Christmas Eve and the only thing that calmed that fussy baby down was the blinking of the lights on the tree, so it stayed UP! (He was baby number six and by that time you'll do anything for a few minutes of quiet.)
Looks like y'all had a great day together!
& that made me giggle, Desert Blossom! I have a friend with 12 kids & I know she would totally get it, too!

Happy VD Bunny
Looks like you got quite a crew there having some fun.
My oldest is still sick, spent 3 hrs in the drs office with no concrete answers as to why she has such a tummyache.
Im beginning to think maybe she has gluten intolerance, need to do more research on this now. They say asians arent typically succeptible to celiac etc but she has been in horrible pain in her stomach ,has had the runs, for over a week now and she seems to go to the bathroom after anything with starchy carbs in it so hhmm..maybe
I know you have had experience with this Bunny so any help you can suggest would be great.
Dr ruled out her appendix and said nothing bacterial is showing up so Im at a loss and she is still in pain.
I hope you are all having a sweet fruit and agave filled VD day!!!!!!
My mom and sister often leave the tree up until Valentines Day. It's always down by St. Patricks though. This year my Christmas stocking hung over the fireplace for 14 months(just took it down in January)!
