Raw Fu

100 Day Raw Food Challenge

AUGUST 1, 2009- GET OUT MORE, LAUGH MORE, AND TUNE DOWN THE DRAMA LLAMAS!

Today, I'm back from my relaxing vacation, and it's time to tune down the drama llamas on the Fu! Go out and have some fun. Get out more, meet up with some friends, and stop worrying! It's gonna be ooookay!

I had a life changing experience this weekend visiting Dialogue in the Dark, and spending an hour in total darkness trying to navigate across a city street, shop in a grocery store, etc. Helen Keller once said "A walk in the dark with a friend is always better than a walk in the light alone." We have so much to be grateful for, and so much of our stress is self inflicted. Take a minute today to sit in the dark and be thankful for your sight. And hold a friend's hand. Every moment is fleeting. Try not to live them alone and with a frown.

Do I look more relaxed? Wow, I feel more relaxed. I needed to get out of the house for a few days and reconnect with my husband and friends. There was much drama on the Fu over the weekend, and yes, I deleted those ugly horrible threads. This place is all about the love. Let's keep it that way!

BIG LOVE!

Love and Hugs to you Ms Bunny. My real life has taken over my desire to be here lately, so looks like I missed some crummy stuff. Yea! for me!
Don't let any of the turkeys get you down, and please keep on keepin' on. We need you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good timing for this message! I haven't been online much lately. I am happy to have missed the drama, happy to know you had a great trip, and happy for the challenge of customizing a diet that works in all areas of my life (it's something I've been working on anyhow because I needed to). And the deep breath in & out WAS nice. :) Love to you, Bunny!

Glad to have you back Bunny!!!
Getting out more is also a goal of mine. I have told myself that this trimester (mid July until mid October) I make the rule of meeting 2 friends a week for coffee - no matter what!
I also just bought a MOUNTAIN BIKE which I am super extremely excited about, so I will get out more and visit people :-)

Lots of raw love and hugs from the most beautiful end of the world (New Zealand - hell yeah!)

After the tough weekend that I had, I really need a deep breath! :)

Bunny, I hear you about being chained to the computer and wanting to get out more. Since starting to work from home 2 years ago, I've been exactly the same way. I'm also living in a place where I finished grad school but my grad school friends are long gone and this is a family community, so not very friendly towards single people :(. Part of my goal for this year is to get to San Francisco, where I have friends and family and so much more opportunities to get out. I'm not there yet, but part of my goals for this challenge is to get myself mentally ready for this move and make it happen.

I took a mini vacation myself...and my daughter. Went to visit my youngest brother who moved to Chesapeake Va with his new wife. Man..do I feel better....we relaxed by the pool all day and half the night just catching up and talking about the crazy stuff we did when we were younger....I am relaxed and ready for our next challenge...I even got them to try some raw smoothie goodness! Spread the Love.
Peace,
Mick

I really don't even know who the Dalai Lama is...and funny how this quote ended up in my email box today:
If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion. --Dalai Lama

That's astonishing.
