Oooooooooooo, ours were on sale for 1.99 for a 5lb bag :) Organic Pink Ladys! YUMMM!!! Bought a bunch too lol

Scary stuff, Bunny. My store usually has some produce on sale every week, but hardly ever the organic produce. Last month organic apples were on sale for about half their normal price, and I bought about 15 pounds of them, which was every Pink Lady organic apple they had. I only wish mangoes were on sale! ;)

On a side note, so cute that you call a shopping cart a "buggy"! :)

Bunny, this reminds me of the Michael Pollan book "In Defense of Food"!!! Excellent post...gotta remind everyone I know (especially my college boys) what "real food" is =)

They are so into convience perhaps they should get a funeral service to buy ad space for the same concept "Buy one get one free" on cemetery plots as when they have finished years of this eating they can find it AND GREAT A GREAT DEAL TOO!! LOL Wow Australian Olive Oil ---But its still gonna kill ya! Pesticide city. Love ya xxxI 'll take my tongue out of my cheek now ;o)

So sad, I know. Thank God I belong to an organic produce co-op for 98% of my produce needs. We have Costco and we get our organic spinach and organic frozen corn there. We buy bulk items through Azure Standard for those of you in the north and in the west. I belong to a Frontier Co-Op for my other stuff. And thankfully, we have several Clarks Nutrition stores, 7th day Adventist stores and the U.S.'s only all organic store ($$$) right here in little ol' Riverside! I am thankful.

Well that was a great message...we however were laughing and enjoying Beckett in the background..made my kids giggle!
But your point is well taken. Thanks for the reminder to stay raw! It is cheaper in the long run!

You know what they use to make it slick don't you? Oh never mind......You know what SPAM stands for? My husband's favorite joke of late....Spare Parts A%&*&* Mostly!!!!! Now that is some slick stuff! Do you know when they first started marketing SPAM in the states after WW2 they had this huge entourage of SPAM girls that traveled the country promoting it. They would make this huge entrance into town like a parade with beautiful girls and big new cars. It was so exiting everyone forgot to ask what was actually SPAM...they just went home with their free sample and fried it up...just like the pretty girl said...then went and bought more. Slick meat...Slick marketing.

ewwwww....Slick Meat.....gag..... ;)

Slick meat. LOL. Now that's funny sister!

I can't believe they don't have any "Best Choice" Macaroni & Cheese on that ad insert. What about Spam or Vienna sausages?? There ain't nothing like white processed noodles, powder cheese and slick meat!!

Way to preach it, Sister Bunny!

Hahaha! Yeah, I used to shop for all the buy one get one free stuff - amazing they can call it food. :) Now I go through the produce part of the sale flyer like I used to look at that stuff. Avocados for 88 cents? Whee! I love real food. :)

I must say, Bunny you are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO funny! I came across your site completely by chance and laughed so loud when I saw this little video and your explanations! You should have your own TV show! I have now added a link to you from my blog all the way from Brussels in the heart of Europe (www.RawLife.eu) I hope you don't mind!

In Europe we are not quite as advance as in the US in terms of RAW LIVING, but I am doing my best to spread the word!
