100 Day Raw Food Challenge

DAY 2- 100 Day With Bunny- Juicing, Sprouting, & The Almight Enema Bag

Today I take you through the regimen that I am going to be working on during this 100 Day Challenge. Juicing, sprouting, and colon cleansing. This is by no means what I am recommended for the rest of the 100 Day Challenge participants. I want you to be where you are, and keep it simple. Raw fruits, vegetables, seeds, and nuts. Take it at your own pace.

I feel like right now that I am learning more about the benefits of removing the toxins from my system, and am focusing for now on that path.

The other vloggers you'll see throughout the week are at their own place, and I think we have a nice diverse group of people who are on all sections of the path of the raw food journey. I am hoping that this will allow us all to have more open dialogues about a variety of topics.

HOW IS YOUR DAY 2 GOING?

Day 2 is going well for me - I was able to stay away from milk and am testing all the different nut mylks out there - almond, hazelnut, etc. I think their going to start tasting better and better once my taste buds come back :-) Am now going shopping for fruit and some greens to juice. I hope everyone is doing well - thank-you all for being there!

P.S. My hubby bought me this amazing juicer (Breville) so I can't wait to start!!!

It only took about a week for my tastebuds to really start changing, so you're on your way! Way to go VeroGirl.

Very nice, Bunny... I like the simplicity. Simple living food, clean colon. I had my first colonic yesterday and feel so much better. Goodbye nasty toxins. Day 2 is great!

Hey Bunny, we have the same enema bag :O !!! We're enema bag sisters!
I'm still at a loss as to what I should be putting in my bag... but I'm still working up on how long I can hold it, so I guess I still have some time to figure it out.

Today has been going great and raw for me, but since I haven't eaten anything yet, I'm not sure that counts! I have almonds and hemp seeds soaking in the fridge from last night, and a carton of strawberries, so when I'm feeling better I'm going to make myself up some strawberry milk as a treat. I'm looking forward to my supper green smoothie (a classic mango-spinach) but now I'm craving tomatoes and spinach, and want to make up a celery/greens/tomato juice!

I've read that taking msm powder in water first thing in the morning is good for detoxing, is that something you've tried, or will try? I used to do it regularly, but have been slacking off since I moved.

LOL, love your little quirks, zooming in, making cute faces at the camera, that smile looks like you're up to something. Haha! Of course Bunny loves carrot juice!! I hate cleaning my juicer as well.

A green smoothy, salad with avocado, 2 dates with tahini and an apple in between today. I made my first cooked kale chips for my daughter and she ate them. That is HUGE for her. I had 3. I am okay with this, until I can get a dehydrator. I have been starting each day with a green smoothy since it is a little cheaper then juicing (plus cleaning the blender is way easier then those juicers. I put it in my travel mug and go!

I just started sprouting last week and have not "harvested" yet, but another inexpensive way to get them greens in. I am using a mason jar with a 3 lid set of plastic strainers I got at the health food store for under $3.

I feel great!

Peace
Kath

Hi Bunny,

Can you tell me what size the enema bag is is that you use? Is it standard bag size or perhaps a much larger version? I could not tell on my computer. Can't wait to hear you talk more about it (^_^).

Thanks so much!!

Love and hugs,

Jenny

Oh, the almighty colon cleansing. I am still working up the courage.
Day 2 is a wonderland of green smoothies and juices. I've got almonds on the soak for milk and flax seeds for some serious cracker making. It's the beginning of something great, and I'm so happy to be on this journey with you, Ms. Bunny.

Are the same peas you used to cook! :

I love juicing and sprouts! I will be doing that a lot too. For my health.

I am wondering where you get the peas for the sprouting.

If people want to grow their own veggies, juice those! If you get carrots with tops, juice those too!

You can also get juicers on craigslist for pretty cheap.
this is one of my favorite juices:
