Today is our wedding anniversary. 8 years ago today we gathered behind a puppet stage and performed a love play before coming out and dedicating our lives to each other. It was the happiest day of my life, and I still get goosebumps when I wake up next to Baz. I love you, PunkGompen.

I have been married to my husband for 27 years and I am 43 years old, yep I did marry at age 16 and NO! It was NOT! A shot gun wedding, I found the right man for me.

I think there are a few things to make a marriage work

Patience
Understanding
Communication
LOVE!
and one I think that is rather importatnt is...... acceptance, acceptance of one anothers AWFUL habits.....LOL!!!.....HAHAHA

We have been together so long we tend to know what the other is thinking, feeling, their mood and what the other is JUST ABOUT to say, we know this by each others reactions, facial expressions, how we walk at that moment, tone of voice etc....it's AMAZING!!

I hope you both have a LONG and WONDERFUL life together!!

yay!!! happy anniversary! I love love. I hope one day I will have one of those anniversary-husband-type thingies! i just got back from celebrating my sister's wedding on May 30 (just like Tiffany!). BF and I have been together almost 10 months now. (maybe one day...)

My hubby John & I have known each other since I was 14 (23 yrs. ago), been together since I was 17, and married for almost 13 yrs. I started high school at a Catholic private school where I knew no one and cried every day until my parents let me go to the public school where all my friends were. I transferred mid-semester and there weren't enough available classes, so I audited an advanced French class I wasn't ready for, but I sat behind John, who was 2 yrs. older. I guess it was meant to be! :-)
