100 Day Raw Food Challenge

Hey, I haven't been hearing much from you guys on how your challenge is going, or what kind of results you're seeing so far. So, chime in! Tell me how the last 53 days have been treating you, and how you have been treating your body with delicious and nutritious raw food! What's your favorite food right now? Whatcha been eating? Been exercising? Give us the goods! Want to show us a picture? YIPPEE!

By the way, this used to be my favorite tee shirt. A size XL from Target (granted it was an XL babydoll tee so it was tight) . Now it's ripped up both sides and down the front, imagine the Hulk's clothes when he busts through them with his muscles. Yeah. But mine is, um, FAT!

I'm not doing it very well... lot of things around me are out of control and I always tend to put my in the last... any way thing are not as i want to be but are much better before start the challenge!
My belly, ( exactly the same 9-month un-true pregnant) is still here... lol but my skin start to shine!... something is something!:)

Anyway... Bunny, I look forward to my RawFu Challenge e-mail everyday. How am I doing? Well, unfortunately it varies from day to day. My husband was recently hospitalized with heart issues and I resorted to 'yuck food' for comfort. Did it work? No. Did it mess up the scale? Yes. Did it change anything except make me feel yucky physically? Nope... so... how old do I get before I learn? Maybe that needs to be the question for me... when will I learn? But, in the meantime, I'm happy to report that I've been 3 days back at high raw and feeling much better.

HI Bunny! To start things off. I want you to know how much I appreciate you, for who you are and everything you do for us!
I am doing great on my raw food journey. Knowing and understanding that I don't have to perfect allows me to really enjoy the journey, rather than beating myself up if I over eat (at least it's veggies and fruits but none the less) or if I eat a salad dressing or some small ingredient that may not be 100% raw.

I love eating raw, I love reading about it, talking about, researching it....I just can't get enough.

I have been doing great however in creating an exercise routine! It is no longer an option to NOT exercise. I no longer have EXCUSERCISES!!! I am training for a marathon, that is the goal that I gave myself. I feel stronger. I just need to better control my appetite. Even though I am eating all fruits and veggies, it's still not good to over eat.

Hi Bunny,
First of all thank you for Raw FU. It's wonderful to have a way to connect with others like myself. How am I doing?...well, pretty good. I just joined Raw Fu yesterday but I have been on my journey since January so I feel like it is day 53 for me too. I'm grateful I found you so I can share what I've learned, and learn from you too. I am 100% Vegan and working my way to 100% Raw food. I'm forgiving myself and allowing a bit of grace for my process because I have several food allergies. They seem to be changing and lessening since I've introduced more and more raw food, which is such a blessing. Anyway it's interesting. Since January I have lost 24 lbs., 144 down to 120. I feel great!! I have a ton more energy. I have practiced yoga for about 5 years and have recently added hula hooping to my daily exercise. It's so much fun!! And it works those abs!!! My tummy looks wonderful, something I never thought I'd see again after two children. Thank God, Woooo I'm so glad, I guess it was under there the whole time. I just crank the music and spin my hula hoop. I'm thinking of starting a hula hoop group in my area. Hooping with music is a blast, but hooping with music and friends, even better. I'm moving in slow motion Bunny. I've been with you since the day you went live with Raw Fu. I still am not "Raw". With this 100 days I decided to stop labeling myself raw and then feeling like a failure. I am just moving more and more into a healthy way of eating. I signed up for Penni's experiment. I need the accountability. I am an emotional eater to the core. But the adoptions are just around the corner and some normalcy can begin. I think after June 18th I'll finally be able to take a breath that's not laced with fear. Unfortunately, now it's my husband that's getting beaten up with emotions. My husband who is always calm, has begun to be fearful. He says that while we were fostering the kids for the past 5 years; we kept them safe and healthy; he knew that ultimately the State was responsible for them. He said that once they are adopted the responsibility for them will be all on us. He is feeling overwhelmed and afraid. He could use your prayers.

I love the cool t-shirt, and great cleavage girlfriend! Wish I could say the same about mine which keep heading south as I grow older! My belly is right there with you. I actually started getting a flatter belly, but over the past couple of months I have been a bad raw foodie...too much raw food bars, stress, and non-raw organic corn chips, and not enough sleep has caused me to add back a few pounds. But I'm working on correcting that and I have been good overall. I have been eating lots and lots of wonderful green salads and delicious, nutritious green smoothies - yeah baby! Now if I can just get rid of the damned corn chips I'd be doing pretty good...

I may need to do another cleanse like I did back in March...we'll see. Still lovin' this overall lifestyle, and passionate about it! Love this community. All you all are just so terrific! And please don't get tired of the compliments Bunny - but seriously, "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" You have really made a wonderful place for us all to be supportive, and to learn, and to share...you let it all hang out there girl, and you just make me and so many others so very happy to know you and to be a part of all this wonderful RAW FU!

no video for me either :>(

i had been slowly moving up my rawness. after such a cold winter, i was glad that the warmer weather was starting...no more excuses. the other day i was 80%, then i was 95%, then today...30%! gak. i was almost bingeing, and i don't binge.

i decided to work on the little fat pad on my middle by getting a walk in your home video by leslie sansone. 12 minute miles with a 2 minute blast at each mile. i was doing great...saw some fat come off (my scale said so). and now today, i was starved with cravings. i think i discovered another trigger food :>(

2 steps forward, 1 step back. not discouraged, just disappointed. but, learned a few lessons. hey! bunny, are you wearing a purple bra? yes!
