Day 57- Eye Health & Community Health

Today there are TWO videos for you to enjoy. The first is about our topic of the week, The Eyes, and the second is about Community Health. One of our members needs our community support. It takes a village, you know.

THE EYES: It's amazing how so many systems of our bodies want and need the same vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that are readily available in a raw food diet! Think yellow, orange, and GREEN!


THE COMMUNITY: There is someone in our community that needs our support. Gypsy Mama is facing and life and death scenario, and has made a medical decision that I fully support and stand behind. Hear her story here.

Gypsy Mama.I have written to you many of times and WE want you to be here to talk to us about your future roll by teaching us about your illness.As Bunny says lots of juicing is in your future.I know 1 gal with Gastric bypass and you eat lots of protein.You need to be well and we are all here for you girl,just know that!Stay in touch with your progress.I am truly interesed as well as others are to see you get well ,for if you get that lung transplant we are here for you.

I had some other things I was going to say in regards to my mother's weight issues, and her cancer, and the options we never got the chance to explore because her insurance waited too long to approve her GBp surgery...
Instead, I'll go to the top of the Sears Tower with 100 prayer leaves and cast them to the winds for you.
You are strong, beautiful and brave.
I count myself honored to be a member of this community with you and so many other amazing and beautiful creatures. And I look forward to many more years of having that honor.

And Bunny, as always, thank you for keeping us all aware and inspired.

And Bunny - with you at its helm this community can only thrive. I have been over at 30Bad recently and they are just so judgemental over there it left a bad taste. No-one has the right to judge, we all need to live in peace and acceptance.

I feel humbled today that Gypsy is going through her journey and this experience with such grace and thought for others. What a positive being she is.

AMEN! Very well said! It breaks my heart that anyone would pass judgment on a person who is truly in a life or death situation. We are here for Gypsy Mama, regardless of the choices she makes for her personal health. We each need to find the perfect balance for our personal needs, and what is perfect for us won't be perfect for anyone else. Gypsy Mama has found her personal perfect and we should each support that decision 5000%. I DO! Gypsy Mama is in our prayers and I look forward to hearing her praise report about losing the weight, getting the transplant, and finding perfect healing. God bless you Bunny for sharing this need with us. It's a privilege to support Gypsy Mama in her battle and I am standing on the front lines with her. :)

This video was very touching. I think that many of us tend to view gastric bypass surgery very negatively, but none of us can really know what we would do when met with a life and death situation like Gypsy Mama. Bunny was right to point out that this surgery is not for vanity reasons or some sort of weight loss cop-out. My thoughts are with Gypsy Mama during this time- I can't imagine what it's like to go through something like this.

I have been faced with life-and-death circumstances which could have been reversed much more quickly and may not have even gotten to the life-and-death scariness if I hadn't been so darn reluctant to get medical advice & treatment. very informative video bunny -- i am hoping to not have to wear glasses being raw -- i don't think my eyes have gotten worse this last 9 months but not sure if they have gotten healthier -- must up the orange yellow and green vegies and fruits
