100 Day Raw Food Challenge

Help! Do anyone know how to make raw potato chips? If so please hook me up! My friend girl been having potato chips over for two days now and the thought of eating them has been hard to shake. I must confess for he first time I ate a few of them.....Bad girl bad girl! Just one day after fitting them skinny jeans. hahahahahahahahahahahahahah But I didn't go any farther then that. I will resist and make my own raw chips. I do love the raw kale chips, I just didn't have them on hand at the time of my temptation! lol lol lol lol. It will be cool if someone out in raw world have a recipe for raw potato chips or corn chips.
Thanks for listening.

Don't go down the path of a potato when you have Kale at your disposal. Here is video on youtube that will give you an idea on how to make them. They are super easy to make and in a lot of way more tasty then potato chips.

Hope this helps, RawDaddy

You can use a mandoline on sweet potatoes to slice thin.....coat in a little chili powder, cayenne, and sea salt then dehydrate till crispy (12+hrs)

or

Slice zuchinni or yellow summer squash....coat in spices and sea salt and dehydrate. I have been doing this for weeks now since they are in season....Happy dehydrating!

I just found a recipe last night, maybe you could try it :) It says to slice the potatoes thin and then soak in lime juice overnight to cut the starch, then sprinkle with sea salt and dehydrate. I found it on goneraw.com, and they didn't have any measurments. Let me know if you try it!!

Hi if you craving salt and vinegar chips, this is what I do..... Thinly slice Diakon radish, I use my vegetable peeler. Then soak it over night for about 35 hours or so in vinegar. Then drain and add sea salt to it and place into the dehydrator until crispy. I included a picture to show you...

We love kale chips. We make them simple. Kale olive oil sea salt and garlic powder. I have done them with fresh balck pepper too. There are recipes for fancier stuff with nutrional yeast on them.
Make some banan candy while they are cooking. Sliced banana coated on both sides with good cinnamon and dehydrated. OMG nirvana.

Could you give me the recipe for the spicy corn chips? Thanks for that advice. I tried to make the corn chip before but they didn't turn out right. I'm willing to try until I get it right...lol Thanks for commenting.

My advice, don't even try to dehydrate a potato!! There are some recipes out there for it, but they are nasty, imho. (Yes, we tried all of them! lol! potato chip fanatics here.) :) Go with the kale chips or the spicy corn chips. Much better choice for us. :) If you want something similar to a french fry try the jicama fries. When I first made those my dad ate them every day for a month.

Marlene ... your daikon looks more like a sculpture work of art! Beautiful photo! Neat idea, too. They sure don't look like any chips I've ever seen!
