Raw Fu

100 Day Raw Food Challenge

Why doesn't conventional medicine embrace healing through diet? Our society is so brainwashed by the big food companies.
I can't believe how much better I feel by eating macro and raw foods.I just completed my cancer treatment and feel amazing. I attribute that to my diet. I am so passionate about teaching other people how they can heal themselves through food.

In the olden days low income people were the ones with gardens. My old 8th grade teacher who is in her 90's told my cousin that the Great Depression didn't have as harsh an impact on their area since everyone had their own garden anyway.

I talked to my 97 year old Aunt and she said they had a huge garden, bought some dried fruit from Sears Roebuck and dealt with the winters by canning, pickling, preserving and storing stuff in the root cellar. In her own words 'there was always plenty to eat'.

During WW2 Eleanor Roosevelt encouraged everyone to plant 'victory gardens' - 1/3 of the vegetables in the US came from Victory Gardens one year.

Brings back memories of my grandmother. She did all that and I loved eating Sunday lunches at her house. Society sure has changed.

Where I live, almost everyone grows a garden. It's wonderful! I'm extremely fortunate to be living where I can have plenty of garden space.

Well even for urbanites you have the fire escape gardens, raised bed gardens or container gardens.

This guy Gerald Celente who is supposedly a trendsetter mentioned gardening and alternative health in his top trends of 2009.

I remember my Grandma's garden...& my mom's...& pulling weeds for a penny a weed!

They are actually feeding livestock chicken poop, turning herbivores into carnivores and cannibals all for the sake of cheap meat. It's so disgusting. .

Exactly! Where did mad cow disease come from? Animals being fed other dead diseased animals....so stupid....

Well done on your cancer treatment Rebecca. Healing with food - seems a no brainer really doesn't it? We really ARE what we eat.
