Anastazia

How EXACTLY are you challenging yourself this time 'round?

So for this mini challenge, November 15th to December 24th, {40 days} HOW, specifically, are you challenging yourself?

How can we hold you accountable?

What are your goals?

Why are you here?

Let's be real specific & share exactly where we're at, so we can look back at the end of this challenge & see if we've reached where we're headed, (in preparation for the next 100 day challenge!)

I'm a newbie here, but my challenges are:

1. Have a green smoothie daily.
2. Eat at least 2 raw meals daily.
3. Try a new fruit or vegetable every week.
4. Plan my meals weekly.

I'll be journalling daily to keep track of how I do and hopefully blogging here at least once a week.

My challenge is to STOP coffee and eat 75% Raw. I find that it being cold here I really crave some warm soups in the evening.
I also want to stay vegan and cut out ANY sugar......agave and honey are out too! ann

anastazia - what are YOUR goals?? very curious! i wanna know what you're up to, too!

my goals for Peas on Earth:
1. 100% raw, 100% 80-10-10, 100% no overt fats EXCEPT
2. 2 thanksgiving meals, which will both be lovingly cooked by my beautiful sister and will be 100% vegan. bf is meeting my sister on thanksgiving, and i'm meeting his mother and sister on thanksgiving friday - they wouldn't know what to do with a vegan at thanksgiving if i bit them, so i'm packing my own food. i'm saving the shock of RAW for later. bf's mom is the chief dietician for WIC; she writes SAD textbooks for nurses. for real. that's gonna be a fun dinner conversation.
3. do my daily yoga practice and start doing my workout dvd's
4. get a check to anastazia for the bag she made me! whoot-whoot!

until the 15th, i'm doing a banana-feast. i kinda took a tumble off the wagon this week after taking valium, now going to feast on bananas and get myself re-established.

Hey Anastazia-You are really good at coming up with interesting discussion topics.

My goals:

1. Exercise-exercise-exercise!!
2. Stay Raw-100% mostly
3. Allow myself a raw vegan meal every once in a while
4. Add more green smoothies

I am here because there are others on the 'raw journey' - we can all learn from each other-no matter 'where' we are on the journey.

1. Exercise! I need to get back in the swing, I can feel it in my bones!
2. Experimenting without feeling tied to the kitchen.
3. More greens, always!
4. Seeing if what I AM eating is causing some of my digestive issues and working around that.

I get paid today and can join the classes at the gym.
I want to do more green smoothies as well as green salads.
Be prepared.

:D

my goals for the mini challenge -- what an interesting question -- i mean other than continuing eating 75% or better raw

My goals for Peas on Earth:

1) to move at least a 1/2 an hr a day
2) to get lots of greens now that its winter
3) to try one new recipe a week
4) continue keeping my food journal
5) to work on my goals and healing workbooks
6) to finish my Christmas presents on time (not raw related but it will be a majority of my time for a while)

2. 75% raw

I'm here to continue to stay on track with a high raw food diet. The last challenge really kept me focused, and accountable to myself - so I know the mini challenge will definitely benefit me during the holidays. And by that, I will be able to share my focus with the group.

Specifically, I want to continue drinking at least 1 - more like two, green smoothies a day as I have been.
Work harder on staying away from purchased raw food bars (they can be addicting when you don't have time to prepare food)
Create more variety in my daily raw diet, to keep the balance
Continue with my yoga
GET MORE SLEEP...that's my biggest downfall right now!

I love this group! I wish everyone the best!

Peace!

I ate my last Lara Bar on Friday. I was buying enough for the week on the weekends and they seemed to keep disappearing. They are great in a pinch but not something I want to keep on hand. Good Luck to you!

My goals for the Mini challenge are:

To continue eating 100 % raw. Except for Thanksgiving, I look forward to having cooked yams and other veggies.
To include more exercise in my daily routine, and not too make exciuses.
To eat less overt fats,

I am here because I love it. Simple as that.

Now it is your turn Anastazia :0)

HOW I'm challenging myself:
1. Be 100% raw. Except for herbal tea. (This time around limiting the number of nuts and avos!)
2. At least one green smoothie a day.
3. Four days a week at the gym.
4. Spend one day a week doing food prep and dehydrating.

How can you hold me accountable?
Send me a stern email saying "Karen, are you SURE you are really eating raw"? (Just kidding, I hate that) :o)

Goals:
See above

Why am I here?
Too existentialist to answer right now.

Thanks, Anastazia for posting this up to get us started! My first challenge! Yay!
