Anastazia

How EXACTLY are you challenging yourself this time 'round?

So for this mini challenge, November 15th to December 24th, {40 days} HOW, specifically, are you challenging yourself?

How can we hold you accountable?

What are your goals?

Why are you here?

Let's be real specific & share exactly where we're at, so we can look back at the end of this challenge & see if we've reached where we're headed, (in preparation for the next 100 day challenge!)

How can you hold me accountable?

You already hold me accountable just by being on the journey...this is a beautiful, inspiring place, what can I say?

My goals?

I would like to:

1. drink at least 1 green smoothie a day
2. go Raw until dinner
3. eat a colorful raw salad for lunch and one with dinner
4. exercise my body/dry brush my body at least 3 times a week to get my lymphatics circulating and rid my tissues of metabolic waste...detox, detox, detox
5. meditate daily and get rid of "stinkin' thinkin'"
6. LOVE GOD & LOVE ALL OF HIS CREATION!!!

Why am I here?

I believe it was "God's appointment" that led me to this beautiful, incredibly loving and supportive community.

My goals:

1. 100% raw
2. Get back to juicing every morning.
3. Wheatgrass juice at least once but twice daily is better.
4. Get back to yoga and pilates.
5. More green smoothies.
6. Increase my water.

My biggest goal is to get back on track again and alkalize my body. More alkalizing. This is a healing journey for me.

My challenge is hardly food related. I'm finally comfortable and maintaining a 90%+ raw diet, and have consistently done so since March 2008. 9 months, can you believe it??

My goal relates to fitness. I am committed to working out every day, and trying to get my heart rate up when I work out. Also, I'm going to try to get more sleep.

Edited: Reading other's comments, I noticed there are a few I want to steal. Drink carrot-apple juice! Drink green smoothies! I finally have been drinking those lovely smoothies the past 2 mornings, and I don't want to stop. My immune system needs every little boost.

My current goal is to eat less. I have no problem staying very high raw and exercising, but I do overeat. I eat when I'm bored, I eat when I'm stressed, and I've always had a hearty appetite. So, I'm working on eating less. Also, we often get home late and eat late, so I'm working on that now. I'm current goal is not to eat after 8:00 and when I get used to that, I'll work on not eating after 7:00.

I'm here because reading everyone's trials and tribulations and successes with raw - it helps keep me on track. Also, I love, love, love Bunny's videos!

How to hold me accountable? Send me an e-mail every three hours or so, asking "Heather, are you really hungry? Do you really want that handful of walnuts? Do you really need to eat a salad big enough for 5 people? Put that avocado down!"

i usually eat too much too, but i've started a new thing that is helping. no eating or drinking anything until i have a bm. and then water with lemon is the first thing i have after that, it gets the digestive system ready. and then i try to do just fruit before noon, but havent been so good at that one. one step at a time.

hey heather -

are you sure you need to eat less? or maybe just less often? remember that raw foods - unless you're eating a lot of nuts and avos and flax crackers and dehydrated foods - are not as calorically dense as cooked foods, and so you do actually have to eat MORE in order to get adequate calories. the more fruits and veg you eat, the more you have to eat in order to get all your calories. nuts and fatty foods do pack a higher calorie punch, so if you're looking to nosh, go for the fruits and veg. i mean - i need a salad big enough for 5 people! tonight for dinner i had 4 bananas, 5 dates, a whole head of romaine and 4 stalks of celery. yum.

Hello, I'm brand new and just reading the workbook for the Peas on Earth challenge... just finished a personal challenge of drinking a green smoothie every day for a month.

I'm just crystallizing my goals now, which include being good to myself and taking care of my needs. (Whether that be sleep, healthy food, water, or time in the bathroom!) I would like to go to 2 green smoothies every day. I have been getting 2 on many days toward the end of this month of green smoothies, but I feel better when I do that every day. I would like to drink more water, I need to figure out how much water, so that the goal is more specific. I will do that by the 15th.

I would like to stop eating the food at work - there are always leftovers from the catered lunches and things and I feel lousy when I eat them. I'd like to bring my lunch 9 out of 10 times in the 2 weeks period (I work 5 days a week). I need a way to work the goal so that it is positive and not negative. So let's say, I will eat the food I supply at work.

Thank you for being here...-Miriam

Good morning Rawfuers. I was MIA for a bit, but I'm back and up for the Challenge.

1. Drink at least 2 green smoothies each day.
2. Eat simple meals (not so much gourmet).
3. 2 raw meals per day and If it's cooked, make it Vegan.
4. Walk my buns off (literally).
