100 Day Raw Food Challenge

I drink at least two quarts. Half the time I drink four quarts. Right now, I'd drinking an apple, red grape, cherry and lime smoothie. No greens _ sometimes I'm just not feeling it.

Anyway. Give me an average. I'm curious.

When I'm staying fully raw, I definitely drink 2-4 quarts/day. That's really when I feel my best.

I usually try to drink at least one a day, that's maybe about 16-20 oz. Lately, I've slipped a bit. Like you, just wasn't feeling the greens. Yesterday, I made a chocolate almond smoothie. Coconut water, almond butter, bananas, dates, blueberries, and Chocolate Bliss powder. DIVINE!!!

I usually drink around 1 quart. When I'm only on green juice and fruit, it's more like 2 quarts.

Sometimes I drink 2 30 ounce green smoothies and then a Chocolate smoothie or Chocolate nut mylk in the evening which is also about 30 ounces. So for green smoothies at least 60 ounces. Sometimes that's the only thing that sounds good, and it's the easiest! :)

It has been steadily increasing this summer. My garden focus is on raising a variety of fresh greens and boy howdy do I gots them!!!! I make about a gallon a day and drink just over a quart .....I do have to share with 4-5 other people each day! Also been on a green lemonade kick....I make that by the gallon. I make lots of green juice and freeze it in cubes so it is easy to put on the dog's food with coconut oil...yes, I melt the cubes first!!!! The green juice cubes are also handy to pop into a quart mason jar with water for on the go "instant" green juice. I love green smoothies and green juices and greens. Green is the color of the heart chakra...just think if all the bozos in DC ate their greens in abundance how different things would be this day.......

I'm very new to the green smoothie thing, trying to ease into it slowly :). I drink only one a day, in the morning, and it's usually about 20 oz or so. My recipe is pretty much always the same:

1 cup spinach leaves
1 celery stalk
1 1/2 cups frozen fruit (usually 1/2 cup some sweet fruit like mango or blueberries or peaches and 1 cup sour fruit like raspberries or sour cherries or pineapple)
a little stevia powder and/or agave syrup to sweeten
water to taste

I drink this first thing in the morning and although it doesn't fill me up until afternoon, it does give me a nice boost for a few hours. I really like the spinach because it gives the smoothie a kind of creaminess and you can't really taste it, unlike romaine lettuce leaves which, for me, have a very "vegetation" aftertaste.

Meredith! Green lemonade is in the raw family books. Very Easy: Blend a large bunch of greens 2 apples 1 lemon w/ peel 1 cup water. Strain thru a nut milk bag or cheesecloth or however you strain! I have added ginger and limes too. Its so refreshing!

I usually drink 2 quarts. One for breakfast one for lunch. Sometimes I have a green soup for dinner which is basically 1 quart of savoury green smoothie :-).

Today was:
140g silverbeet/chard (that's a lot - try weighing your greens, you'll be surprised how friggin light they are - I am trying to eat 1 1/2 - 2 lbs a day. 140g isn't even 1/2 pound...)
100g curly kale
1/4 tsp spirulina
2 bananas
3 golden kiwi fruits
