November 4- Daikon Dissolves FAT & Health History Practice

Follow Today's Video and Thread, Let Me Know If You're Willing To Let Me Practice Doing a Health History on You, and Learn Something New About Daikon's Here.

Did you know that Daikon radishes have fat dissolving properties in the body?? Get thee straight to the kitchen to make that chicken-less soup recipe we talked about yesterday!

And I need some volunteers to let me practice doing Health Histories on them for my program at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. All it will take is an hour of your time, talking to the BunBun on Skype or by phone about your health situation, and where you are right now. I'll keep my schedule open, and we'll get through these, and then see what happens. I need two done before next Friday. :)

Feeling better, and have on argyle socks!

Nice.. If you pick me let me know and I would love to participate. IT sounds interesting. Sometime after work would be best. I am on Mountain Time and get home around 5:00 pm so anytime after that would be ok.

I'm game. I don't have Skype. I'm on Easter Standard and get off work by 7 pm

I just got a ginormous Daikon at the farmer's market for $1 so that is cool news!

Hey Bunny,
Love you! You are hilarious. You made my day.
I wouldn't mind doing a health history sometime, though my health history may not be as "exciting" as some.

Miss Bunny you were missed at Matt and Angela's talks last night. They were most informative and and I truly felt the long 2 1/2 hour drive was worth it to see them. Matt did mention that you were under the weather with illness and said that he had prescribed a Colonic for your early recovery.

On the way home I was pulled over by the NC State Police on I 77 about 45 minutes from my home at 12:15 am today. The trooper said I was slightly exceeding the speed limit of 55 mph (I was going down a hill and was doing 58 mph) and one of my license plate light bulbs was out. After he took my drivers license and went to his car, he then inspected the rest of my car and looked at my jar of Almond Butter in my purse, the Nori wraps I had bought from Matt and saw my big Ball canning jar with leftover green smoothie stuck on the inside laying on the passenger seat and asked what it was. He then let me go on my way. This afternoon I got the bulb replaced and the Ball canning jar clean.

I juiced a daikon radish once to make the soup. It was horridly bitter and HOT. I had to throw it out. I thought it would have a mild flavor. Are they supposed to be this way?

I don't really find them bitter, but defitely hot. That's why I was thinking maybe substituting a jicama juice. Something sort of.... Potato-y.
