Hi Bunny,
i seem to keep a low grade infection in my left eye like a weak spot in my body. if i get too tired or too stressed, i have the same gunk and my eye will swell shut if i let it get too bad. we have lived for the last 25 years without health insurance so if there is any way i avoid going to the doctor. when i did go to the doctor for this problem, he gave me a small tube of antibiotic. now when i get the "eye gunk," i use regular old tripple antibiotic. i am not telling you to do it, but i do and it works for me.

try megadosing on B1 for the mosquitoes...works for me camping, hiking, etc. I've always been their first choice for din-din!!

I posted on Youtube but I will say it again..I ahd this horrible affliction for 2 weeks, and its was HORIBLE, came to the conclusion with the Dr that is a viral infection...lots of white gunk and sore eyes..really nasty. Salt water was the best thing that helped, and a zinc supplement...oh a few good curries seemed to help too !

I am using a tea tree and zinc underarm deodorant and it seems to be keeping me bug free at the moment...just an idea its from the Tea tree Thursday farm from Oz..you can get them in health food shops.

Chamomile tea compresses always help me (and my kids). Hope it goes away soon. You are always cute - "aged" or not. xo

Soooo sorry, sounds dreadful. If it makes you feel any better we had head lice this week, all of us, thanks to 2nd grade girls styling each other's hair and then our daughter crawling into bed with us. A week of nit picking, mountains of laundry.

To answer your question, I had a boyfriend who was a happy healthy guy, but when I broke up with him his entire face erupted in acne. It was very dramatic and sudden, considering he had never had a single zit as long as I knew him. He couldn't even shave. That sounds to me like a sudden stress causing a physical reaction.

Wishing you healthy eyes and skin soooon.

It hurts just to see you like this :( This does remind me of when I was in my 3rd year of University and was hit by a car leaving the parking lot one day. My neck was very sore for a few days but, it was later that the real problems started. I ended up getting a throat infection, a sinus infection, tonsilitis, and a migraine for four days (I had never had a migraine before and never understood what the big deal was until then). It was all near the end of my semester of University and almost failed a couple classes, but pulled through like always!
Anyway, stress and trauma has dramatic effects on the immune system. It is largely a psychological effect. Perhaps it came out in your eyes because we've been talking about eye health all week.
I highly recommend, on top of some kind of treatment, getting plenty of rest and relaxation. Visualization and affirmations can work great for some people as well.
Good luck with it all Bunny! I know you will looking great as always in a few days!

I hate that stuff. It happens with me and my daughter and myself every now and then....it's been a year...but I hate it. I had to finally get medicine for it. Stuff wasn't cheap and I have no idea how to cure it naturally. It's been over a year...but that sucks.
