Sorry folks, I am worse today, and will br going as a Zombie for Halloween. Are you or your kids going to dress up? I want to hear all about it, and see their costumes. Halloween costumes crack me up! Show me your decorations, your costume ideas, you in costume, your Sahmain festivities, whatever you't got.

Cheer me up while I am iPhoning it in. Show me your stuff!

This Halloween is definitely dedicated to the late and certainly great Michael Jackson. :)

I LOVE Halloween. LOVE. I also love Michael Jackson's Thriller video and I remember vividly the night that premeried on MTV. Henry Miller we were pumped. UP. and screaming our tween hearts the mother-fucking-fuck OUT. MTV followed it up with Jump, I swear it, which had us continuing the sweaty pubescent freak-out.

Did I just date myself? Whoops.

Look. Halloween isn't about the fright so much as FULL GROWN ASS ADULTS removing the sticks from their asses once a year. You know what I hate? Adults who pretend to care by "dressing up" is a t-shirt with a jack-o-lantern on it or something. I mean look. Either do it or don't bother.

I bother. I live in the Halloween Capital of the states. No for real. Tomorrow it's supposed to be nice out with a full moon. We're expecting 100,000 visitors. It's like Carnival around here. Our kids will be up till 10, easy. They are 2 and 4.

Soooo. Yep. Littlewolf and I will not be hitting the same parties. Heh.

I'll post pictures once we've got them. Tonight was kind of a rehearsal but I don't have proof.

I have been a bit sick the last couple of days, so my food will likely be lots more green juice - it was wonderful today! My son is dressing as Spiderman, and we'll go to a movie sometime so he has something fun to do instead of trick-or-treating.

Halloween is very important for me as I am Pagan and celebrate Samhaim with traditional altar and ritual, I also enjoy the fun aspects. Now that I have a child its fun to watch her get into it the way I did as a child. Last Saturday I went all the way to Estes Park, Colorado to a paranormal Halloween bash with the cast of Paranormal State at the legendary Stanley Hotel where Stephen King was inspired to write the famous book The Shining. It was an amazing time and I dressed up for the first time in years.

I'm not usually that into Halloween (or most holidays for that matter) and it's been since college that I actually got dressed up. Most years I'd be home alone giving out candy to the half dozen trick or treaters, uneventful! This year, some good friends invited me to their annual Halloween party and I hear they really do it up and it's a blast. So, I'm using it as an excuse to get out of the house and have some fun. I got my costume, doing some alterations tonight but excited to head out tomorrow for a fun night vs sitting at home alone. :)

Feel better soon BunBun. Luvs you. xoxo

I am dressing up. Not my best costume but I made it quickly, it cost about $13 in supplies, and it'll due: I'm sushi. I'll post a picture hopefully, though it's not very impressive...I kind of look like a shrimp-ninja turtle:-( But since I'm in Taiwan and Halloween isn't a local holiday, any costume seems impressive!

Happy Halloween everyone, and I'm excited to see your costume pictures!
