100 Day Raw Food Challenge


Today, I look like I've been doing some serious Winky Time, but actually, it was just a trip to a major wholesale outlet!

I finally got my shopping done, and have everything prepped and ready to start my smoothie feast tomorrow. What are you doing to use to the Fu to make this your best week of this WholeFu Challenge so far?

No sound? Weird! I just watched it, and there is no sound either. See, it's been one of those weekends. A weekend of running and getting nowhere, and a weekend of quieting the ego, and not letting the running in place bother me. My goal was to get home, make a video, and get it uploaded. I guess tomorrow I should add, "make sure microphone is turned on" to the goal list!

Well, imagine I'm saying that I love all of you very much, and I'm asking what you did this weekend, and also asking how you are going to make this upcoming week of WholeFu your best of the challenge so far by using your FU POWER.

Ha ha, I should have scrolled down sooner. I wasted too much time trying to figure out what was wrong with my computer! Too funny!
This weekend I studied and tried to organize my 5 kids school/activity schedules. Somehow I need to get cleaning and juicing/prepping in there.

This week I am going to work hard at preplanning and preparing my foods and juices as much as possible. I am finding it difficult adjusting to the back to school schedule and am very unorganized right now. I need to do a better job of having raw foods and smoothies ready to prevent me from dipping into cooked and processed foods.

YEAH Bun Bun...Smoothie week???? I'm in! I felt puky all day today (too much cantelope?) and so my goal for this week is to hit the stores on Wed (my only day off) and be a smoothie, green, raw vegan week to rock the FU!
I'm committed to yoga again and with my company off to the airport at 2am Tuesday, I can rid the house of "normal" food and back up the green truckload of veggies!!!!
***I love Cat Stevens!!!

Shelli, if the method I'm using this week works, I'll be sharing it with all of you. I did a big shop and prep, and I think I have a system down that will work. We'll find out tomorrow! I'm getting nervous. ;/

I'm starting to be more mindful of what I eat. I've been recording what I eat but not paying attention to how those foods make me feel and which foods cause me to lose or gain weight. Aside from being more in touch with my body I'm also getting some help from Lose It! On my phone to help me count calories. Honestly I eat way more than I need to!
So that's a major goal for this upcoming week.
Still working on committing to some of my goals...I'm staying positive though!

I just joined the 100 Day Challenge and started P90X on Labor Day! I won't be going completely raw, but I want to do as much as I can. I'm researching raw foods which are high in protien-the P90X Phase 1 suggests 50% protien, 30% carbohydrates, 20% fats for burning excess fat. So protien rich raw? I've heard raw has more available/usable protien than cooked. Anyone had any experience with bodybuilding type workouts while eating raw?

This week, I am going to kick the junk!! These last 3 weeks have entirely eaten my soul, so I sort of let myself fall back and auto-eat. Can I tell you how many sleepless, or very unrestful, nights I've had due to poor nutrition?? And I'm the sort of person who loooooves their sleep. So that's a big deal for me. Not to mention the other side-effects - bad taste in my mouth, greasy skin, breakouts, not being able to "go" and just generally feeling like a dump. SO over it.

I'm really looking forward to simple foods this week and letting my body begin to release the junk.
