Raw Fu

100 Day Raw Food Challenge

OK this is weird. I switched to Tom's natural deodorant a while back and never had any problems with it 'giving out'.

Sunday I ate mega junkola--including a hot dog--at a church buffet.

Next evening, I am listening to Matt & Angela Monarch speak (yippee) all the sudden my underarms start to stink! I mean really bad like a skunk. So embarrasing!

Today, it's midday and they are stinking again.

So I am wondering if it is detox from all the yuk food I ate 2 days ago. Has anyone had this happen?

During his talk, Matt emphasized the importance of adopting an eating plan you could stick with instead of yo-yoing back and forth. The reason for this is that once the body becomes cleaner, the impact of eating toxic food is much worse. So I'm wondering if this is some sort of wake up call?

For YEARS and YEARS I have used the dude kind of Right Guard, 'cause it was the ONLY thing that worked for me....and then I went raw for 30 days and all of a sudden, I wasn't smelling so much...actually, I wasn't smelling AT ALL. When I have "fallen off the wagon" I stink.
My adult daughter came back home and since she isn't raw, I figured that it wouldn't hurt for all of us to go back to cooked food for a little while....ugh, no....two days ago I smelled so bad I made myself gag....and I have been moody and irritable. On top of MASSIVE cravings. It's SO bad. Tomorrow I go shopping....more raw!! :)

Wow, Heidi that's amazing.

I'm into this way of thinking like 'was this the way God intended for us to live naturally ' - so the idea needing to buy deodorants and stuff doesn't fit the paradigm. But I never realized the bad odor was caused by junk food in the first place. It all makes sense now.

Happens to me rather frequently. Started by blowing lightbulbs in the house and then progressed to streetlamps. I don't think it's anything "trying to come out."

I've been reading up on food frequencies. Fascinating stuff. I should really do a blog post. Anyway, living foods (particularly freshly extracted juice) has a very high frequency. That's all everything is, really — a vibrating electromagnetic field. So, the more we raise our frequency (ie. expand our electromagnetic field), the greater impact it's going to have on things around us that vibrate at a lower rate. Hence, the blowing of light bulbs. Make sense?

Yeah she said a friend was doing it and caused street lamps to go on so when they took a walk it was quite a show.

Bunny - that's weird. Wonder what's in there trying to come out?

She mentioned that when she did her 92 day Juice Feast her system became so charged that she would set off car alarms when she walked through a parking lot!

I was just telling someone the other day that when I went through my heaviest detoxing phase, I was convinced that a skunk had taken up residence under my right armpit. Not my left, just right*. PeeEwwwww! Prior to transitioning to raw, I was the Queen of drive-thru windows.

*If anyone knows Chinese medicine theory, I would love to know what meridians run through the lymph glands on the right side of the body.

Makes sense to me. I was more New Age and am now Christian but in regardless of how I interpret it, I have seen people with a heightened electromagnetic field of some sort. I used to be a massage therapist and some of my clients seemed really 'radiant' whereas others literally seemed like dead pieces of meat. As if their bodies were sacks stuffed full of dead matter. It was pretty weird.

Probably why fasting is so prevalent in many spiritual paths - it seems to help the practioner ascend to a higher vibrational level. Matt Monarch likened eating raw to an ongoing detox fast and I think his point is right on.

I don't know the meridians, but the right side of the body represents make/masculine and the left side is female/feminine.

I stink after I've eaten junk. It's interesting to know about the hormones making that happen, too, though, because I'm diabetic, and there have been times I've been super stinky & couldn't trace it to anything junky I had eaten.

I like to use rosewater &/or essential oils, but I really only do that if I have to be around other people.

I should live in France. :)
