I could be addicted to blogs, so I have to really really control myself. I only subscribe to a few including Yarn Harlot and Parking Lot and We Like It Raw and a whole bunch in the "Green" category.
inOh, sorry, those weren't raw or health books. I own a bunch but don't refer back to any with exception of Natalia Rose. Of all the raw gurus out there, she is the one who does it for me (but for her WHACKY emphasis on cleansing). I'd say I'm a level 2 in her books, with some level 1 days, especially in summer, and some level 3 days, especially in winter.
The best raw books I have read are "green for life" by victoria boutenko and "raw success" by matt monarch. i was already hooked on green smoothies when i read the book but look at what kind of revolution she's started! and raw success has a really great description of how cleansing works in the body. it's a MUST READ for any long-term raw foodie.
OK! After hearing Ashley and AmySue I am going to have to get 80-10-10. I have a feeling that is the way I used to do when I was strictly raw in my first go around 13 years ago. Now I am curious. AmySue said: "it was the most life changing of all the raw books I've read, not to mention the best health book I've read going back to reading Fit for Life and Diet for a Small Planet in jr. high." Pretty Powerful recommendation! I loved Fit for Life! even though there are a lot of cooked recipes, my family grew up in the New Your Goodwhiches! Yummy!

I totally second amy sue...
It changed my life in so many aspects... and i couldn't get over how it made SO MUCH SENSE. I think everyone should read it. Okay, I'm sold. I will definitely pick up a copy of the 80 10 10 diet and give it a good read!
