so today marks my 3 month venture into Raw foods, Ive been vegan for 6 years so the transition into 100% Raw was an easy one. I feel great & love all the fun Im having in the kitchen. Im not doing the 100 day challange or anything of the sort, this was simply a life change, to be & do better, vibrate higher & live.

hi everybody!!!
I´m on raw food since 12 days (vegetarian) and today is my 4rth days vegan and 100 procent raw!
So i hope everyone succeed in their 100 days raw!
I have to say I feel much better, I have more energy, I´m in a better mood.
I olso saw that before I started eating raw (even though I was still eating raw milk cheese) I had some small balls of cellulites if i pressed my inner legs...Now, my skin is much smoother, I can´t say i have no more cellulite, but a lot is gone!It seems that my body consistance is more ferm.
So good luck to everybody and i hope everyone gets amazing results.

I've never tried making seed crackers, mostly because I just have a ghetto dehydrator. I really like Lydia's Organics Italian crackers though. It's really great to have such raw conveniences for when we're craving cooked junk!

Cheese is high in fat & sodium, too. ;) Maybe try salty flax crackers for your chip craving? Sesame seeds are good for calcium. You could try making a seed cheese, too, for the salty flavor. I don't know if I'll have time this weekend, but I'll try to see if I can figure anything else out from your blog. Keep us posted! :)

That's smart to not hav junk around the house, and I know what you mean about it being in the way at the wrong time. (((((Hugs to you!)))))

Riboflavin is the B vitamin I was remembering that is in cheese & enriched flour products. Almonds & sunflower seeds have some riboflavin (but I don't know how much), and you can look up more foods highest in riboflavin on www.nutritiondata.com - just click on the "foods by nutrient" button, and then choose "riboflavin" from the drop-down list of what nuient to search for. You could also try taking a B-complex supplement, because it would have the riboflavin, and the B vitamins help us handle stress better.

Things that help me with periods/PMS: flaxseed, cacao (Sunfood brand only, and Navitas Naturals actually makes it a lot worse!), broccoli

If you're craving cheese you may need calcium (get from sesame seeds), or phosphorous (abundant in nuts), or certain B vitamins. Depending what carbs you're craving, that may also be a signal that you're not getting the B vitamins, since some breads, pasta, etc. are enriched with B vitamins. I had a friend who was a healthy eater and found herself craving cheese & white bread when she was pregnant. We figured out that her body needed the B vitamins from the cheese & enriched white flour, and we figured out healthier sources so she could get the nutrition she needed. I'll look it up & get back to you.

I know we all work differently when it comes to stress & emotional eating habits, but if you're weaning yourself off of goat cheese and then eating donuts, then maybe it would help to just keep one or two of the "healthier" things around for when you get stressed?

Carbs=fruit. Berries are lower-glycemic than most other fruits. Maybe try those first?
