I find if you put fruit into your smoothie just make sure the fruits is not so high in sugar - avoid apples, pineapples oranges (too high in sugar)...and go more for the grapefruits, plums, a bit of papaya and mangoor bananas and strawberries...quantitiy is important !!!.... just get used to not making it too sweet....you can add a bit of coconut for some more flavour...

try making some slads as well with some awesoem sald dressing....this is a simple one which makes a good breakfast for me : one avocado, one tomate, one pear/apple with olive oil, cayenne pepper and salt, add in some nnuts if you like and stir very well....this makes a wonderful and delicious meal anytime of the day...and it's so simple to make.

I don't know - everyone is so different. I eat protein stuff in the morning - often leftovers of a savory meal from the day before, or a huge green salad with lots of avocado & maybe other stuff like hemp seeds. If I have fruit, it is usually combined with nuts in a dessert or thick shake.

Can't believe I missed this group!!!!! Yippeee, so pleased to be a member......I too want to be raw to hopefully help keep my diabetes under control and reduce the amount of insulin I take. Very pleased to meet everyone, I'm Fee, live in England and work in our family run business, mum to 4 fab kids, 1 cat, 1 bunny and a hamster. Just had a new kitchen fitted so totaly rawfu friendly.......special cupboard built to house vitamix and dehydrator plus various jars of nuts and bits.......ohhh yehh I'm ready to rumble.
