I just started juicing (with my less-than-stellar blender and a nut milk bag) last week. I'm only doing a litre of green juice a day so far, but I am so digging it.
A couple of questions, though, related to the time-consuming part of prepping juice:
1. Making juice the night before would be a bad idea, huh? I feel guilty when I turn on the blender in the early morning when others are still sleeping. I also find that it takes me ages just to get all my food prepped for the day, so any tips on speeding things up would be appreciated. (I'm not buying a juicer for a while yet - I have to figure out how the hell I would store it in my miniature kitchen.)
2. How do you carry your juices around? I generally use mason jars for EVERYTHING in my kitchen, but carrying two jars (at least) in my bag seems like a recipe for disaster, even if they are wrapped in tea towels. (I'm a klutz who takes public transit, y'see.) I'm kind of dreading my commute this morning because I have two half-litre jars with lunch stuff, a giant jar of green juice, and all my gym gear to carry around. Heavy stuff!
