So I am pretty active, I sometimes find that I don't have much in the fridge but I am starving! Then I load up on nuts or something... when I have loaded up on the nuts I feel okay, but when I load up on the veggies/avocado, I feel bloated and fat later. I am looking for something maybe small quantity that is heavy to keep me from being hungry and will fill me up. But not bloat me out later.
I know hemp seeds are good fillers in small quantity.. I am gonna pick these up.. but any one know any good on the go raw foods foods or bars that might be good?
I like to whip up a quick smoothie with some hemp protein powder in it. It has 13g of protein, so fills you up and keeps you satisfied for a while. This has become easier since I got my Vita-mix, because it blends the ingredients better and tastes better. I am a smoothie junkie. I try to keep frozen fruit in my freezer, so I always have smoothie ingredients.
