100 Day Raw Food Challenge

Seeing as we're beginning this challenge on a Tuesday, & Biggest Loser is on a Tuesday, who's on board with that being our official weigh-in day?
(For those on speaking terms with the scale!)

There are times I don't weigh myself, & yes, the raw Lifestyle is all about health, not just what the scale's sayin', but for me, getting the numbers on the scale movin' down is crucial to my health's RAWstoration!!! & I'd love to share that weekly accountability, the ups & downs, the highs & lows, with whoever's here to shed their fatsuit, too! (whatever size it is!)

So.....here we go!!!

I would definitely take part in a Tuesday weigh in. I am looking to lose about 15 plus or minus pounds, and also firm up with exercise. I think that it would be great to have some accountability and support. You can count me in!

Love the idea of a Tuesday weigh-in! I've gained about 20 lbs in just a few months and am looking to shed it again. I've been making excuses for myself and some accountability here would be great! Right now I'm struggling just to stop the weight gain but I'm determined to get the numbers back down again too.

Highest weight: 161
Current weight: 157.4
Goal weight: 138 (felt my best at this weight before)

& I love that the goal weights are all healthy numbers! (Not knowing your heights & builds, but still...!)

....but the main thing going on with me about this right now is that I googled my name the other day, & posts on this site came up!!!
And my blog came up, which doesn't have my last name on it anywhere, except when I signed up! (I also posted my weight there until I discovered this...)
So I took my weight tracker off of it (I may re-do it just tracking my weightloss, not my current/goal weights) & am now hesitant to post my weight here at RawFu...mainly because there are some people from my past that have been downright cruel, insulting, & very judgemental about my size, & though I hardly see them anymore, I would rather they didn't read the actual number at this point (at least until I'm no longer weighing quite this month...), especially because my weight has been fluctuating some, & I've regained some back recently, & the weight loss I had experienced has been stalled until now...)

...so I'm going to do things a little differently here...

I'm just going to post my weekly weight loss for now....when I get to a number I feel more comfortable with (in terms of dealing with these particular people/having them know...I accept where I'm at...), I'll start posting the actual number again...
{...I expect that to be long before this challenge is over...}
...I had intended to do this 100 days 100% raw, but have been thinking & praying about it & have decided to do things a little differently (written about on my last blog post, on my home page), I'm going to begin with a ten day fast/cleanse, then do the 2nd ten days 100% raw, then 10 more days of fasting, alternating all the way through the challenge...(so 50 days of fasting, 50 days of 100% raw)...
I'm not sure at this point if it'll just be water fasting, or juicing as well...
...either way, I'm really toxic, & experiencing some harsh health issues right now that I know will be greatly relieved by shedding some weight & detoxing faster than just raw will be...
...so I'll share with you next week whatever I release this week, k?
I hope that's ok with everyone here, I know I'm the one who started this weigh-in thread...

I just saw this today...would I be able to start on Tuesday the 21st? I didn't want to weigh myself at the beginning of the challenge because I knew I'd be so disappointed in myself for gaining back everything I lost in a January 30-day challenge, so I was giving myself a week or so on the raw before I weighted myself. I need to lose 30# and preferably 40#. I'm only 5'1" and sure I'm over 160, so that would put me at a good weight, plus my 30-year class reunion is in August! :O

Oh boy, this is tough to do...but I just weighed myself and.....yuck..

Current Weight 168.8
Goal Weight 130
(I am only 5'1")

I guess as soon as I get this cold over and done with I'll be hopping back on the treadmill... and running outside if the weather ever shapes up. Can't wait to try my new trail running shoes. Right now (Tuesday, April 21, 2009) it is SNOWING!

I am 5'5. this past week I have lost 2 pounds.

This is going by the scale at home. Its easier to weight here, even though I don't like it. The scale at the gym last night said I weighed 277, which I would LOVE to go by that scale all the time, but I am not there in the mornings.
