100 Day Raw Food Challenge

I have been drinking a Yogi green tea called "Green Tea ~ Blueberry Slim Life" along with another Yogi tea "Healthy Fasting" and I have been amazed at what has been happening! In the past week I have lost 6 pounds, and it has continued 3 days straight (I had a bit of a gap as I ran out of tea in the middle of the week). I woke up today thinking I would not have lost any weight as I wasn't sure I had eaten enough food yesterday (we all know how that works....can't cut back on food and lose weight...can't eat sensibly and lose weight (well you can, but it's slow...) but I got on the scales and I had lost another 2.5 pounds!
This is true and this is unbelievable and trust me....this never happens to me!!! I am a 54 year old, post-menopausal, not very active woman. Even when I have gone to the gym and worked out 3-4 times a week 2-3 hour workouts each time I have not been able to lose a single pound!!!

You must try this....as it is so amazing and so easy and the best part is that it motivates you to eat well, to do well, to even exercise a bit....as you are getting results!

I just put 2 tea bags of the Green Blueberry tea and 2 bags of the Healthy Fasting tea in a quart of water (or however much water you want) and drink that during the morning...before, after and during food.

It has cut back my appetite, increased my energy, seems to be melting away my belly fat and I am in awe and just going with it. You are probably thinking this all sounds too good to be true, like a commercial etc....I would too if I were you, but it is what is happening to me and I just have to share it!

Yesterday I ate a decent amount of cantelope for breakfast, a decent amount (between 1/2 to 1 cup) of mixed pumpkin seeds and pine nuts for a snack, had a large salad for lunch (lettuce, with some sweet bell pepper, 4 golf ball sized tomatoes, an avocado and half an entire stalk of broccoli) which I could not finish at work, as I was feeling full, so I finished most of it later (at around 10 pm).
When I got home from work I had 4 yummy apricots....and that is what I ate. I had trouble finishing my salad also because the rest of the avocado in that last bit of salad felt like too much...my fat appetite had been sated, turned off....I actually ate around the last bits of avocado and threw them into the compost bin.

I could list the tea ingredients here, but you can google them I am sure...but YOU'VE GOT TO TRY THIS...AS IT IS SOOOO AMAZING AND IT WORKS....IT WORKS IT WORKS IT WORKS!!!

Please do let me know if you do try it and what your results are.....as if it works for me, I am sure it will work for you.....but I'd love to know.....love to hear how your weight has started melting off for you too....

I drink yogi simply green decaf.....they have a huge selection of yogi at the organic foods and cafe here, totally going there later to add some new teas! Thanks for the tip !

Update.........turns out it wasn't the tea that caused the weight loss....but the fact that I started taking regular doses of a probiotic. I made the connection when I asked my son who has been taking the probiotics also if he noticed a beneficial affect and he said he thought they made him feel better (we both are dealing with candida) and he said that he also had lost 5 pounds since taking them....

So...it was the probiotics....and after the initial weight loss I am back to the same ol same ol....trying to keep the scale moving downward. Good news is the weight has stayed off.

ha, oh crap. :) I've ordered those teas from my local organic shop for a wee try. i dont ever have hot drinks though, i bought the goji berry anitoxident yogi tea and just couldnt aye, me and hot drinks just dont gel. :)

The teas do help.........but they aren't magic. sigh. The probiotics were temporary magic.....but at least the weight has stayed off. Just wish the weight loss would continue..........lol. Where's my magic pill? My magic wand? I guess it's ordinary magic.........the day by day kind......sigh. love that instant kind. so hard to find.

What probiotics are you taking?

Brew the tea hot, covered for approximately 10 minutes and then place it in the fridge or pour over ice. I cannot stand hot tea either, but cold tea helps with cravings for artificial flavored beverages! Green tea is good, but Mint Yerba Mate tea is my favorite.
