for me....

I had my Gallbladder removed & I nearly lost my life. Poor me! Enough is enough. That happened 6 months ago & now it's time to take charge. I'm sick of the aches & pains, I'm sick of the bad balance, I'm sick of the emotional roller-coaster, I'm sick of the confusion, I'm sick of the memory issues, I'm sick of the sadness. It's up to me, no one else.

Before I went into hospital, I'd been 100% raw for 40 days & I felt WONDERFUL. I want that feeling back. How though? At the moment… Continue

Yes, you can get all you need from just smoothies, if you have variety, especially! (You need to rotate your greens, anyways, to avoid building up alkaloids...each different green has different ones...not good in high, cncentrated amounts, which will happen with the same greens over & over...)
Oh, one more thing....(it's rose petals they're resting on...)

darling girl, cut yourself some slack, you still have raging hormones to deal with as well as emotional pain, so yeah, eating 'crap' will sort of happen. Try to add in a cacao/spinach/banana smoothie or make some banana ice cream (just frozen nanas, blended or done in a food processor till creamy, so good!). I hope that you feel better every day.. and try again to conceive real soon. Try reading Kristen's Raw blog, she is so great with advice about getting pregnant and staying very healthy!

I didn't find the vinegar necessary so I stopped using it except on certain really gross things like the towels I use to feed my dogs their meat on.

Hi Ali, Do they smell like vinegar, or just kind of dirty? If vinegar-y, you might try just using baking soda. I would probably quit the vinegar and add a few drops of lavender or another essential oil--you could mix it in with the baking soda and keep in an airtight container, or somehow add it to the water. Have fun on your trip!

I use clay in the following quantities - 1 spoonful (desert spoon size) to about 250 ml warm water. Shake and allow to dissolve a bit. Depending on what type of clay you have it wont all dissolve so you will need to keep shaking as you add it to your hair. I normally add it to dry hair and then rinse out after with a white wine vinegar/water mix. Hope that helps.

Yes we do miss our gorgeous cat Mungo terribly. Its been a year now. He was such a loving and wise little chap. Luckily we have three others to keep us busy and smoother us in furry love!!
