Hi, KelseyI Just passed by your blog & I love it! Would you mind elaborating on your kidney issues? Both my sister & her daughter have kidney issues & both eat HORRIBLY & I'm trying to research ways of how raw can help. If you've had any success f...
Do you do a fasting day every week? I've read several times on how good that is for your health to give your body a rest every six days... Thank you for sharing so much about yourself with your story. I still suffer from a skewed body image that l...
Hi, Anastazia! Thanks for starting this discussion. 8 lbs ago I was at the "I need to lose 100 lbs!?!?!??!" So I'm just a bit under as we speak (& hopefully that won't change anytime soon!). According to what my BMI should be I need to lose about ...

Is anyone referring to the Health Master by Montel Williams? I saw it on an infomercial this weekend & actually ordered it b/c it's half the price of a Vitamix & still has 2 horsepower. It's informercial didn't look much different than a Vitamix o...
Thanks, Jane. Glad to hear you're dusted off & am trying again. I myself have a case of frequent dust butt as I often fall "off the wagon" of health so I'm right there with you. But 40 days cold turkey (or cold cucumer for us veggie folks) is a lo...
Thanks, Bunny, & good luck to you, too. I was actually pretty afraid of candida in regards to this diet but I have to admite that what Dr. Graham wrote really put me at ease. Think happy thoughts! :)
Disco! Congratulations on your journey. I am breaking out my 80-10-10 book again after this last gallbladder attack. I have to admit that I'm a little scared because I've had candida issues, so I need to read up on that part again.
I don't think ...

Hello My Awesome New Raw Food Friend !!!****** =)
Blessings of Peace...Love...Joy...And Infinite Abundance !!!****** =)
Thanks
I saw Paul Nison last year at a lecture/demo in Independence. My husband &I are doing great and we do believe that proper diet & nutrition play a huge role in that healing. We take care of each other. He is able to do just about anything he wants or needs to do so I am not really spent in that respect. I definately eat the same way he does b/c I figure if this helps him heal & fight cancer then why wouldn't I eat the same...imagine what it can do for me. I think we are right on in that respect. Anyway, do you have any recipes for eggplant that do not require a dehydrator? I have heard that it should not be eaten raw but also have heard about raw recipes for it. My brother-in-law grows it and gives me some so I am hunting for a raw recipe for it.
Have a great weekend,
Keri
Hi,
Thanks. Do you know that there is a raw food meetup group in KCMO? I have not attended an event b/c my work scedule doesn't jive with the days & times so far. I started getting into raw foods last year b/c my husband was diagnosed with cancer. We eat raw a few times a week.
You will never garden the same if I tell you.........;-D

The book is awesome!!
The benefits, never needs to be fertilized or weeded!!!
Forget the traditional methods of "farm gardening" plant a ton and then go back and have to thin them out.....now that makes sense. Touch it once and watch it grow! You can have any size you want. Originally invented for someone who has no yard, soil or grass! Great for handicaps such as my brother too who are in a wheel chair and you can raise them onto saw horses so they can wheel right up to them! Each one contains 7 different kinds of soil, Simple Formula 1/3 blended compost, 1/3 peat moss, 1/3 coarse vermiculite. Equal parts of each, measured by volume, not weight. You will need at least 5 different types of compost......the book will be your best investment ever! :)
A fellow chameleon! Nice to meet you. I'm reading a book right now about people like us, chameleons. It's called The Renaissance Soul. It's wonderful, and for people who have too many passions to pick just one!
