Good idea. I'll add that one, too.

Bunny, How about a frugal living group? For those of us who are downsizing or otherwise watching our budgets, and want some accountability in this area.

Sure, that sounds fun. I have two other groups that I'll be starting too when the "New Fu" goes online. Raw Diabetes & Sober Living

Ok...I see. I think it's a great idea to keep it to raw food!!! I mean, that's what this site is about. I was thinking it would be fun for you to start a "Raw Beauty" group or something fun and girly, for sharing hints and tips. What do you think?...
What kind of groups would you guys like to start? I create groups that I think will have enough of an audience to stay active, and don't allow any political or religious groups.
Because I think it's great to have a community of health seeking people all together, encouraging one another with small and realistic goals. That is SO smart! Little by little, inch by inch, we can all improve.
I'm not actually a 100% raw girl and I'm happy with that, but I've dabbled and learned lots about it for a year or so more...I do love raw food, mmmm. I don't often eat as much as I should raw, but I really like to find (and be) in a place where I'm really happy with where I am...I feel really good on raw foods, but I also feel great on other stuff too. I thought this would be fun to join and to keep up some of my raw and health goals.
Besides...it looked fun!

I think it was just called a vanilla and chocolate parfait, or maybe just Parfait... I don't remember exactly. It was a young coconut based pudding with chocolate on bottom and vanilla on top ;)
No I do not like judging food as calories I feel it belittles it.. I think calories are pretty typical to western type diet which doesn't give food or food products consideration beyond a nutrition label. I don't mean to dismiss calories in general, it describes the fuel energy, but I think that food is more nourishing beyond calories.
If you were referring to how a model's relationship with food is.. models are pretty much just like any other group of people. A lot eat fast food, some eat SAD, some have problems with how they see their body and food and some strive to be healthier. I have actually had people ask me if I am "allowed to eat". Right.
My 'food plan'.. Yeah I have been raw really long.. without knowing it for the most part.. or that there were so many other people not eating meat or really cooking their food either. I just didn't like things other people consider in their diet. My diet is always changing per season or need. I'd say that always the largest volume wise of my food is greens, sprouts kind of thing. I got into changing my lifestyle in general since I was around 12, noticing dairy and even before that meat, and just things that my body did not like and often those I especially did not like in mind either.
I think we are partly with our passions because we need to learn them for our self. I really benefit by extending what I am interested in further.. to others, the environment. Likewise I'd like to hear from people who think on this same level. Why are you interested in a plant based diet.. raw lifestyle.. whatever you call it by?
Just popped over to check out your blog & the 1st thing i saw is that you love Jesus, too! Yay!
Do you mind if I add your blog link to my blog?
& I'd love it if you could share any other Christian ones you know of with me, that'd be wonderful, I'm trying to gather 7 list them all in one place!

Hello, fellow Canadian!
LOVE that picture! My goodness, definately food as art!
I love your reasons for joining RawFu, (above) & wonder, what are you doing differently here that's a challenge for you? & how are you doing so far with your raw & health goals?
Whereabouts in Canada are you, west or eat coast? I'm thinking of setting up a raw meetup in Vancouver in later October, any chance you could join us? (There's 2 others in the area so far that I know of!)
Have a wonderful September!
