November 21
Hey Girl :) When I suffered this I threw a few prunes into my juices.....it really helped. You know the old wive's tale is correct....I can vouch! I always eat them normally as they are one of the best anti-oxidants and rate in highest on the ORAC...

My first juice feast.

So, on sunday I had set out to juice until friday or sat. Was all determined..thought I was ready. I had gone and gotten what I thought was enough fruits and veggies to juice and started my juicing journey. Today is the 4th day... and I have decided to break it. There are many reasons at the moment. For one I was not as ready as I thought. I didn't have any supplements, no enema bag, and not enough variety of stuff to juice. It is day 4 and I still haven't poo'd. This morning I was going to try… Continue

So.. about this juice feast/fast....

I had planned about fasting/feasting for 6-7 days. Basically the duration of my vacation. I have been reading about juicing online the past couple of days.. and they say to actually see result.. about day 14 is when it starts to happen. I have also read that if its your first time of juicing, about 5 days is good. Then next time try a little bit more.. and then a bit more. Im on day 2 right now. Im doing alright..I have hunger pangs, but they are not that bad. I am drinking plenty of water.. don… Continue

Juice feast day 1

Ah.. so today I have started my week long + juice feast/fast. I haven't been all juice today however. I woke up and I wanted to do a smoothie, but didn't have bananas, so I had 2 eggs. Lunch I had a 6 inch veggie sub from subway. i spent about $70.00 on fruits and veggies today that are probably only going to last about 4-5 days. :( Thats sad to me.. BUT.. im doing it for my health and for weight loss.

The juices I had today were apple and carrot.. (2 apples and 7 carrots).. and then I had 1 ce… Continue

August 22nd, 30 pounds gone

I have been on a weight loss journey since basically the beginning of the year.. maybe a month or two longer. There were a few months where I didn't lose anyweight at all... and I have since started keeping track of what I eat and my calories and working out more.. and my weight is starting to come off again. Yay! When I first started this raw journey, I had weighed about 317.. but come to find out I probably weighed more than that because I was weighing on the carpet.. not a… Continue

Ugh

SO I have gotten addicted to cooked food again. bagels, eggs, veggies sausage.. steamed veggies packs, bean burritoes, grilled cheese sandwiches.. waffles, toast.. argh. Bad thing is, is that I tend to eat the same thing every day too. I don't have a variety of foods I eat, and I don't like to cook. I want to back into raw, however im on a budget and due to not having a car I can't get to the store as often as I need to, so I am stuck with buying things that will last all week. :( it saddens me… Continue

Try going on a hot tea and smoothie feast at work. I lost 10 pound in 5 weeks doing green smoothies at work. I used hot tea to warm me up. I also put socks on my smoothies to keep my hands warm while drinking.

I'm about to get up and get another salad. I know that I have to get more variety in my meals, but I am not doing any of the shopping right now, so I am going to just love the salads for now and I eat fruits, veggies and stuff. I'll look in the raw recipe books soon. Thax for commenting! :)

Hey Coleen, we are using Nama Shoyu as the sauce in the wraps. There are tons of sauce recipes, but this is just simple and tastes great. I also use tamari sauce. :)

HI Colleen, Hope all is well. You wanted to know what's in the avocado rosemary salad. Here it is. Avocados, tomatoes (seeded), sprouts, rosemary, lemon juice, garlic (minced) and celtic salt. Mix together, but keep chunky. Very delicious. Have a great day1 :)

I am so sorry that it has taken me FOREVER to reply to you!!!!!!!!! I have been very busy with the kiddos, teaching them, chasing my youngest around and playing pokemon with her. Keeping the house in order, starting a new business on ebay, pregnancy, giving in to crap foods during pregnancy. :( Being diagnosed with gestational diabetes, hypothyroisism. :( It really tires a woman out!

I am however back to raw and have been feeling much better than ever!!!!

write me back and fill me in on how you are and what's going on!

LOVE the Irish music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
