My so-called 40-day Mini Challenge progres...lol...it needs work!

Well, let me start out by saying, I need a redo this time! Lol...all joking aside, I've been bad the past 10 days. I have given in to my addictive food behaviors and I have been binging on Trader Joe's Organic Corn Chips. Granite, I justified it by stating to myself, "well, it's only organic corn, organic sunflower oil, and sea salt." Not that bad! Well, it's not, but when you haven't had that sort of thing for a long time - not only does the salt get you hooked, but the oil hurts my tummy! Caus… Continue

10-days strong, and one year to celebrate just around the corner!

I can't believe it's been 10 days already! I also can't believe it will be one year on August 14th (just 4 days from now) since I committed to a raw food lifestyle! I am truly greatful for this 100-day raw food challenge. It has really put my diet in check.

You see, I started slowly falling off the wagon, by cheating on Sun Chips, and Sushi more often than not. Plus I was giving into my raw fats too much. Too many nuts and raw sweets. Even though they are better than the processed and cooked st… Continue

I am pleased you received some of your Choccy bars and yes I agree, Shazzie's bars are really delicious!! Infact I have just ordered more.
I hope your Chocolate factory bars arrive soon too!!!!!!!

Oh! Kate Woods Choccy is Delicious also!! I have also ordered another pack of Kate's choccy but I think Shazzies's bars are slightly softer than the others.
I have never heard of Gnosis but I will check it out as I did with Shazzie's.
I don't think you are nuts, I love choccy too and also I like it much better than the processed stuff.

Yeah the bars are rather pricey but because of this it may stop us over indulging in choccy in one sitting...teehee
I have often overindulged in processed choccy but I still have loads of raw choccy in the house.....but I'm still stocking up....wooohooo

(((Sending choccy arriving QUICKLY vibes)))

I received my Shazzi bars, and tried one already - it was pure heaven! I felt like a true ecstatic being! Lol...
I still have not received my Chocolate Factory bars...I'm hoping I get them soon.
You will think me a nut, but I also purchased raw chocolate bars from Kate "Magic" Wood, and from Gnosis! Yes, I know that's a lot of chocolate. But I love chocolate, and I don't like store-bought processed chocolate any more...and, I want to do my own personal review on all the different raw chocolates out there. A little pricey, "I know!" But, in my mind it's worth it - as long as I don't eat them all within a week! Lol...
I'll keep you posted!

Hi Debbie,
Have you received your Chocolate yet?

I sent off for a Goddess Chocolate Bar from Shazzie and although the Choccy from 'The Raw Chocolate Company' and 'Raw Living' are ABSOLUTELY YUMMY! And I will most certainly be buying them again, I have got to say, Shazzie's Goddess Chocolate bar just has the edge.

I prefer the raw Chocolate bars to the shop bought choccy now, raw is the best!! By far

Sooooo Debbie,
You post photos of fudge that looks out of this world ... and no recipe? C'mon now. Do I need to beg? :-) I would love to try it out this week. Next week, I'll be juicing, so I want to try to get it in now. lol

Oh Shazzie's Choccy bars, I haven't tried her range....YET! but I have just bought Raw Living (Kate Wood) Choccy Bars and they are lovely.
Now I just have to purchase some of Shazzie's Choccy bars, I will have a look at her web.

Enjoy your Choccy when they arrive.
The Vanoffe and the one bar of Explorer is DELICOUS!

Hi Debbie,
You done the same thing and bought the choccy...woohoo
Did you buy it from the same company after watching Angela Stokes?

If you did then the delivery will be longer because of you being in the US but it is well worth the wait.

I am going to purchase the Explorer box next time because I was very suprised at how nice the Dark Choccy is and it comes in different flavours, Orange, Mint....YUM!

Which flavours did you buy? If you bought the Explorer then do let me know if the others flavours are as DELICOUS in the Explorer box.

Hi Debbie! Thanks for the encouragement on the ice cream sandwiches. I am on the hunt for a container of some sort to make the "perfect" ice cream sandwich. I'm also looking around for a better cookie recipe. Something fairly plain to let the ice cream flavor steal the show...
How are you? I looked through your pics and you've made some yummy looking things! Don't you love Ani Phyo? Many of her recipes are simple and easy to follow.

Thanks for the welcome, I am on day 6 and I found today was the most challenging day bc I was actually home all day with a pantry full of pasta, soups, granola and freezer full of frozen dinners..But I stayed strong, in fact I basically juiced all day bc I am getting bored of salads. I know there is alot recipes out there but I guess I feel a bit overwhelmed! LOL
