Hey guys, checking in again to let you know I'm still here juicing strong!! Day 72 and I am feeling amazing. Will spend Thanksgiving with friends and I will have juice while they have a gluten free Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Thanks for the recipes, I will use them for Xmas as I will enjoy juice for Thanksgiving. Will mark my calendar for the call on Sunday!! Day 4 is fabulous, I'm on day 71 (I think) of the juicefeast. Some awesome stuff.

Sorry to hear you are still feeling so lousy. Some of what you may be feeling is the detox from the sugar, wheat and dairy. Hang in there you will feel better soon. Also may be part of the confusion.

I'm juicing for 92 days. I have lot about 12 pounds so far. Just to be clear I'm not doing smoothies. What I do with the greens is put them in the Vitamix and then squeeze them through a nut mylk bag to get the juice. You get more juice this way than putting them in the type of juicer that I have. I split that between 3 of the quarts. It's really quite amazing how many greens you go through doing that I think there are somedays that I use 3 pounds.

Juicing 4 quarts is just great ,now how many days are you juicing for.I guess I should say day what are you on was it 37 ,and how many lbs have you lost?I need to juice again.Now do you actually put 1-2 lbs of greens in the smoothies.Its hard to do sometimes.

HI! Yep, using organic celery.. :( They say I may just be allergic to the Parsley fam.. hope not.. I have a whole two weeks until I find out from the allergist..so I'll just sub it with something. I thought it was weird too..

You have any ideas of something hydrating to sub it with?

Hi Debi! Wow 24 days, that is great! I'm hoping to build up to long term juice feasts as well. It's mostly a mental prep! This first juice feast has been amazing for me! I had to go to the doctor today because of severe facial swelling due to some unknown I'm taking in.. possibly celery... sad isn't it? I don't have an allergist appt for two weeks so I'm at loss of what to do.. Have you heard of this happening? Glad to have someone else fasting to talk to!

Debi- Here's a trick I use to help me make a habit stick- It's based on Martha Beck's book "The 4-day Win." What you do is you make yourself a ridiculously easy goal- (or even a mini goal toward a larger goal) one that you KNOW you'll be able to accomplish. Sor for example- "I will exercise for 10 minutes a day." Once you have your goal establish, you then set up a daily (smallish) reward and a (bigger) reward for the end (after the 4 days are up). After you "win" the 4 day win, you either set another goal- maybe "I will exercise for 15 minutes a day" and repeat the process- changing the rewards if you want to, and so on...

I did this back in April with a goal to "Eat a healthy breakfast" because I was finding myself at the drive-thru at McDonald's every day! I was not exercizing at all at the time. Fast forward 4 months and now I'm about 95% raw and exercizing about 6 hours a week! Crazy, huh? I started out with 2 or 3 of the 4 day wins (that I made up for myself) and after that I was motivated to start making big changes in my lifestyle. Good luck!
