Hello everyone:)
I live in tropical north Australia where fruits and veggies are bountiful and can be grown year round. I started this challenge on the 2nd of august just so I can wake up in the morning and be greeted with Bunny Berry's videos (I love them! Thank you, Bunny! You are such an inspiration)...instead of being a day ahead of most of the participants.
My primary goal with this 100 day raw food challenge is not to go 100% raw - in fact, I will forget about numbers and percentages altogether - but rather increase the raw food component of my daily food intake. This translates into a green juice in the morning and a raw salad with my dinner...and thanks to Bunny Berry I was inspired to make my first green smoothie ever today (2nd day). It was delicious! I would never have thought:) So green smoothie it is! (I should add that I eat mostly raw food throughout the day followed by a cooked dinner). Over time I might experiment more with raw food beyond the world of juices, smoothies and salads, but for now I am content with this. Small steps. I believe in keeping it simple. Simplicity is my mantra.

Just saying Hi. Struggling a little today not with food but I broke my foot a month ago, I kind of had enough now. My boys went back to school this week for holidays I really miss them because at least with the boys home it forced me to go out even if it was just to a park and I sat there. The best was went to the beach the lifesavers wheeled me on to the beach on a beach wheel chair, so there are advantages of having a broken foot!!! But not many. Missing my gardening very much although that is how I broke my foot. xxx
I've been doing well this week, although I did have some "not so good stuff" last nite...but just a little. lol
It gets tough here as I still have 2 SAD ( standard aussie diet, lol) eaters here, so I still have to cook for them.
Although, this week has been a breeze....one is away with work & the other is in Victoria visiting rellies.
Its really weird not having to get anything out of the freezer, or pull out pots & pans everynite, though. lol
I just stand in the kitchen & dream about things like "no stove over there, & an extra fridge over there"!! LOL
Oh well, maybe one day ????
Anyway, have a fabulous weekend & chat soon! Judy. :)
I know what you mean about the warmer weather making it easier, but I figured if I can tough it out over winter, then come next winter...I'll be laughing! lol
Hope your journey is still going strong, & you have a fabulous week! :) Judy.
It's autumn in the Uk, although today was beautiful! I wish fruits were so abundant here, you are so blessed.
I am bidding for a vitamix on ebay, and may invest in a dehydrator, step up the game a little!!!
Lost 9lbs so far, not as much as I had hoped, but in the right direction..
Good to hear from you

how you doing? I have been up and down, on and off... The weather has turned in the uk, wet and cold has made me turn to warm and comforting foods!!!
But have a fridge full of raw and fresh, back on 2 raw meals as of tomorrow ..
