Hi Dreamy
Just saying Hi. Struggling a little today not with food but I broke my foot a month ago, I kind of had enough now. My boys went back to school this week for holidays I really miss them because at least with the boys home it forced me to go out even if it was just to a park and I sat there. The best was went to the beach the lifesavers wheeled me on to the beach on a beach wheel chair, so there are advantages of having a broken foot!!! But not many. Missing my gardening very much although that is how I broke my foot. xxx

Hi again, Glad to hear you are still doing great on your journey! :)
I've been doing well this week, although I did have some "not so good stuff" last nite...but just a little. lol
It gets tough here as I still have 2 SAD ( standard aussie diet, lol) eaters here, so I still have to cook for them.
Although, this week has been a breeze....one is away with work & the other is in Victoria visiting rellies.
Its really weird not having to get anything out of the freezer, or pull out pots & pans everynite, though. lol
I just stand in the kitchen & dream about things like "no stove over there, & an extra fridge over there"!! LOL
Oh well, maybe one day ????
Anyway, have a fabulous weekend & chat soon! Judy. :)

Hey Dreamy....Hi !!! :) Sorry its taken me so long to get back to you...Ive been away all week. I started my raw journey back at the start of July, by just adding a green smoothy to my day. Then on 10th July..... I took the plunge & went raw. I dont really do % & numbers either, & do eat a bit of cooked food, sometimes, all bad stuff of course! :( I had a bit of a cooked food binge while I was away, but Im home now & even more determined to be at least high raw all the time.
I know what you mean about the warmer weather making it easier, but I figured if I can tough it out over winter, then come next winter...I'll be laughing! lol
Hope your journey is still going strong, & you have a fabulous week! :) Judy.

Hi thanks for that info, I bought a 4 litre tin of extra olive oil and I thought it that doesn't look to extra virgin like, it was very brown. I think it might be better to buy in the glass bottle.

Good for you!! I am hooked on my green smoothies for life. I did try juicing, but my juicre is not great .. and it was a pathetic amount for all the effort and produce..

It's autumn in the Uk, although today was beautiful! I wish fruits were so abundant here, you are so blessed.

I am bidding for a vitamix on ebay, and may invest in a dehydrator, step up the game a little!!!
Lost 9lbs so far, not as much as I had hoped, but in the right direction..

Good to hear from you

Hi nice to hear from you. With the fudge try it with 1/2cup of cacao powder I think I said 1/4cup and also try less coconut oil. I just throw it all together. No I haven't tried those bars yet. I am so limited with raw here, I have a friend who is trying, but otherwise I am really by myself. Everytime (without fail) I say I eat raw people say ' Oh what like carrots?'!!!!! Then they try my fudge and nut butter and go oh!!!!! not like carrots.

My foot is getting better thanks starting to weight bare now. Hopefully by the end of the month I will lose the crutches.

But have a fridge full of raw and fresh, back on 2 raw meals as of tomorrow ..

Hello everyone:)

I live in tropical north Australia where fruits and veggies are bountiful and can be grown year round. I started this challenge on the 2nd of august just so I can wake up in the morning and be greeted with Bunny Berry's videos (I love them! Thank you, Bunny! You are such an inspiration)...instead of being a day ahead of most of the participants.

My primary goal with this 100 day raw food challenge is not to go 100% raw - in fact, I will forget about numbers and percentages altogether - but rather increase the raw food component of my daily food intake. This translates into a green juice in the morning and a raw salad with my dinner...and thanks to Bunny Berry I was inspired to make my first green smoothie ever today (2nd day). It was delicious! I would never have thought:) So green smoothie it is! (I should add that I eat mostly raw food throughout the day followed by a cooked dinner). Over time I might experiment more with raw food beyond the world of juices, smoothies and salads, but for now I am content with this. Small steps. I believe in keeping it simple. Simplicity is my mantra.

Climbing back on the wagon

Ever since my trip to the big city (the food...oh the food!) a couple of weeks ago I have been riding the wave of indulgence...that has since turned into a rather destructive force. So it is time for me to get back on the path of raw food, exercise, meditation...not to mention my studies...instead of beating myself up over doing so well at first and then derailing. I think Uza articulated it so well in her video titled 'coming home to raw' (sorry, I haven't figured out how to insert a link yet),… Continue
