I find it easy to stay 811rv for most of the day although I have been slipping up in the evening. I think it's a question of habits and repetition and needing time to make the transition. But I think the challenge is half the fun, I would be quite...
So far, have managed to get into a great routine until the evening....then I allow myself some treats. I still have a mental block about 100% raw, so am working on scaling back the non-raw treats until they vanish! Now that I'm in UK I have access...
Great video....it's not just about over-eating, it's about addiction to high-sugar, high-fat foods and those charged with mood altering substances...will see if my library has this!
Hey, I have a similar problem in the evenings...usually I'm not hungry but have a psychological urge for a "treat"....it's hard to break the habit, but we can do it....!!
It is true that if you don't eat enough sweet fruit you won't get the calori...
I'm stuck on raw now....even when I slip-up, I just can't wait to get back. Nothing else makes me feel this great.
I'm not even scared of slip-ups anymore.
I love that story about the rocks, Bunny. I'm going to use that as a visualisation for negative thoughts. So much easier to see that black rock for what it is and chuck it out! Ive stopped watchng tv for the most part too, occasionally I'll switch...
Just laugh at those people that think they know how you should care for your child. Nurse until you and your little one feel ready to stop! I've tandem nursed, wet nursed and followed child-led weaning to produce four happy, healthy children! Munchkin 1--nursed to age 6! (don't tell) Munchkins 2 and 3 nursed to age 3. Tiny munchkin--22 months and still doing milkie!
Please, for your litle guy's sake, don't let ANYONE influence your nursing relationship! I nursed my daughter until she was 3, & only stopped cuz she got sick, & my milk dried up....weaning should be child led, & is a personal thing between you guys! It's nobody else's business!!! & it's a wonderful thing that ends soon enough! Enjoy that special intimate relationship with him that you've been blessed with!
When people started bugging me, I had copies of an article on all the benefits of nursing as long as the child was itnerested, nutritionally, physically, emotionally, etc. for the child, & the bond, & just handed it out to whoever commented...with a smile, of course!

Hello! How I miss the orange trees we had in our back yard in California when I was growing up. We have raspberries and gooseberries here, which are lovely - people here eat the gooseberries raw. I'm going to give them a couple more weeks before I have a go as am used to eating them cooked. Found a supermarket with some better produce options. Am excited!
