I have never had one, but would liek to have one early next year if we can afford it..
I have had periods in my life where I long for a lock-in program. There is a good book called "Locked up for Eating Too Much" about a woman in in-patient recovery. I have been binge-free for two weeks now, and being free from choosing sounds good ...
I remember having binge nightmares years ago. It seems like with any addiction or spiritual weakness I tend to have bad dreams about relapse - but I guess they are better than the 'real thing'.
I actually have experienced the same when not eating my comfort foods. But when I'm overeating them, it's just the same. How strange is that? What an effect it makes - I can't seem to put them down for good nor have enough of them.
I really find this viewpoint very interesting...I have been reminding myself of this when feeling "the crave" come over me and I get thru the moments just fine....well I have had two tiny crackers with cheese on top the other night...which really ...

(May be Triggering) No Sugar - Day 5
I'm glad I'm kicking sugar, but it is much harder than I anticipated today. I am dreaming about sugar. Today I had a stressful morning, and I kept thinking, "If I just had a little sugar, I'd feel so much better." Sure, for a minute. Then I'd feel guilty. Then I'd feel lethargic from the crash, and I have way too much to do to deal with that.

Operation Pumpkin Seed!
Hi everyone. I am on vacation for this coming week. I decided to celebrate by breaking my toe yesterday! (I actually did it some time before that, but Friday is when it became horribly swollen and painful.) I went to a great podiatrist who saw me that day, really nice guy. He's pretty sure there is a fracture, but only wanted to take a very low-level x-ray (because we are trying to get pregnant, and I'm almost never sure that I'm NOT pregnant in between cycles.) We didn't really 'do' thanksgiving, we were going to do a raw feast & invite our family, but they had other plans, & seeing as we're Canadian, we decided to save the raw feast for Christmas dinner! Hope yours was wonderful, though!
