- What had you in Istanbul? We really enjoy Turkey and go quite often. We have lived in Greece for a little over 7 years now. My husband’s job brought us here. We bought a house here 2 years ago in Agios Stefanos, north of Athens. We moved here from the Seattle. I was a flight attendant for Alaska Airlines for about 20 years and have also spent a good amount of time in Oregon, such a lovely place on planet Earth, I really love everything about the Northwest and miss it terribly, but we have made a good home and life and are living a wonderful adventure here in Greece.
