Are you working out in the evening? If so, you could be stimulating yourself before bed. Or eating late? Even eating within a few hours or so of bed can do it. I'm also finding I'm more sensitive to cooked foods and they interfere with my sleep.

Why Do You Want to Join Raw Fu?
I've been studying and transitioning to a raw food diet for about 4 yrs. I've gradually increased the amount of raw food in my diet, and I've done some periods of all-raw (up to a month at a time). I'm looking for support and community to help me go further on this path.

Hi thanks Laurie! I am a member of 30 bananas a day. I wish there was more 80 10 10 action here but I feel more support and less judgement here.

Hi Laurie. We had to put Fudge to sleep on Saturday. His poor little body was breaking down, which in-turn was causing behavioral issues....he didn't know what was happening. My heart is broken.

I'm using the vinegar in the fabric softener section. So you think baking soda is enough? It'd definitely save on vinegar. I love the smell of lavender, so I'll give that a go, thanks. I have a load on at the moment and added 2 cap-fulls of eucalyptus oli to see how that goes. Thanks for your advice.

Hi Laurie!

Just a quick question - I've been using the baking soda/vinegar to wash our clothes for a while now, but lately they haven't seemed to be smelling the best. Any suggestions as to what else to use in the wash for a bit of extra deodorising?

Oh, we're going away for a week next months so Fudge is going to stay at the farm where he came from. He'll have SO much fun playing with all the other dogs that I doubt he'll even miss us!

Thanks for your replies Laurie, they are both helpful. I'm going to try juice of 1 orange & 1 tsp of honey mixed in some chamomile tea for my hair to see how that goes. And my personal trainer told me not to eat more than 1 banana a day, but I've come to the conclusion that I should just listen to my body & if I do that & am kind to it then it'll take care of itself. I'll check out that blog, thanks.

Always lived in Australia. I haven't been over there a few times & it's a great place to visit but too cold to live!
Fudge had to go to the Vet a couple of days ago. He has a yeast infection in his ears. The Vet said Labradoodles have a tendency to overheat. He gave us some antibiotics (which I'm reluctantly giving him!), a solution to clean out his ear, some drops for his ears, pain killers & a herbal powder to give with each meal (it has licorice etc in it). We also have to give flax oil once a day & Fudge has been ordered to spend more time outside. And no more beef. We just want to do the best by him....I worry.....

Clear yellowish liquid with a little bone - yes, that's it.....but nothing since the other day, so hopefully that's a good sign.

I'm not sure what he's vomiting up. Doesn't seem to be either meat or bones - although when he started eating the last lot, it did sound like he was eating something crunchy. Yesterday was the second time in a week. Maybe I'm just being overly worried about nothing. I'm sure you know what it's like....blow a scratch out of proportion!

Hi Laurie

Sorry for all these questions re Fudge, I've never had a dog before. He just vomited AGAIN.....and then proceeded (proceeded or preceded?) to eat it. Do you think something he's eating might not be agreeing with him tummy? Lately he's been getting only red meat.....each meal has a little bone (a chop, or a lamb bone, pig's trotter etc) but we always make sure it's pretty meaty. He has been having about one banana a day too (I don't like him having them that often, but it's hard when other people are involved!) Oh, and every other day he gets one tablespoon of flax oil with either breakfast or dinner because his skin is dry.
