Creamy raw spinach dip

I had to share this with y'all. I just whipped it up, and it's amazing.

Macadamias
Water
1 small clove garlic
lemon juice to taste
sea salt to taste
a bunch of spinach, chopped

Chop macadamias until creamy. Add enough water to make extra creamy.
add garlic, lemon juice, and sea salt.
Add the spinach and chop until blended. Not too long, it will be green!

Dear lord...I was terrible today.

Being the good neice that I am, I drove my Aunt B for her eye doctor appointment today. I have been doing sooooo good 100% raw too. My lunch today was a disaster though. On the way home she wanted to have mexican. This is where I slipped. Well, no slid out of control right into a Spinach and Mushroom Quesedilla, salsa, and tortilla chips. I'm going straight to hell.

Lunch break!

Having a big huge salad today w/ lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, carrots, and coconut.
evoo/lime dressing. Oh wait, I have a big huge salad EVERY day for lunch. Dinner too,
y'all have to give me some ideas on different things I can fix for lunch.
I have discovered the "mock" chicken salad using nuts, sunflower seeds, cucumber, celery,
and curry; love it! Do any of you make soup? What type? Is it good? Thanks in advance for the tips!… Continue

U R welcome- after awhile you get used to the strong taste of the apple cider vinegar- it used to gag me at first but after a little while it grows on you. I can drink it in water alone now. I have tried to add it to my cats water too but they are just not having it ! They are spoiled brats :-)

Hope it helps (I have noticed that is also helps with weight loss and to build your immune system - I always drink some when I feel a cold coming on)

Thank you for asking about jicama. I made raw jicama fries today and they were delish (instead of cayanne I used chili powder and oh my gosh they were really good and so filling.).

I also read your blog about high blood pressure. Apple cider vinger is suppose to be great for regulating it. http://www.earthclinic.com/Remedies/acvinegar.html

Hi ya no spinach but I have a lovely cabbage, and beetroot !!...Please look into the Tai chi or something call Xing Yi thats my Chinese Dr got me to do. He saved my life...literally !..he took my puse and realsied thatmy heart was over strained and I was about to have a stroke (I had ahad a lot of surgery over a short period of time)...anyhow he gave me accupruncture and Xing Yi exercises and I perked up :)

Tai chi has been proved to lower blood pressure in people even the meds cant help...it works..so PLEASE find a teacher and start a class..it may well save your life in the long run...raw food alone isnt a panacea (as I thik so many people on other sites think) its just part of a healthy life.

Howdy!
I do have a juicer, but it's dying...so I'm using my blender lots...I do think it's a worthy investment, but think the best one you can get is worth the extra $, especially if you think you'll be using it lots! They say you should water down by half any juices with carrots, beets, or other high-sugar produce...& rinse your mouth with water between sips, & brush after finishing! (Otherwise it can be hard on your teeth!)

I always wanted a punchbuggy...every time I visit your page, that picture makes me smile!

Hi ya Maria, nice to hear from you, I don't comment much anymore on here but I read everything and check in a couple of times a day into rawfu. Don't stress to much if you have to eat Mexican, we all have times like that and you will find that most of us are not 100% raw but most are high raw. I am high raw, I think with a family it causes to much pressure not to cook a meal at night, most a few days I am 100% but I don't stress when I can't. I am so excited at the momemtn we just drove and to Sydney airport to pick up my new cat, she is a Tonkinese and is so beautiful, she hasn't come out of her box yet she is a little nervous poor thing, she has travelled all day and it is stinking hot day here. Ok nice chatting hope to hear from you again. xxx Shell
