Ditto on the eating watermelon alone. I've heard and read that about all melons. You poor thing, watermelon is one of my favorites!

- Why Do You Want to Join Raw Fu?
- I have been a reader of Beth Bunny Berry for several years, and when she began her raw food journey in April 2008, I became absolutely enchanted and enthralled with hearing her story, watching her videos, and seeing what this journey has meant for her in so many aspects of her life. What a gem she is! Because of my rheumatoid arthritis, I have always been a seeker of alternative healing methods. Bunny and the community that surrounds her, a community that she has created, has charmed me into wanting to incorporate more raw foods into my life and seeing what health benefits I might enjoy and where my journey might lead me. I'm so excited to be a part of RawFu!

Cece said… - Hey Meredith! Yes, I figure I can't miss a chance to go to the Matt and Angela event. I actually have no idea what is going on that day but I'm going to do my best to make it! I'll have to confirm once it gets a bit closer. You know with the husband who travels and son who plays sports, it is hard to know sometimes.
I'm also going to a raw potluck in Fairfax next Sunday, which is a bit far afield for you. But if you're game, please join us! It is in the northern VA meetup group events. Anyone can join, of course.

Thank; you for posting a hello on my page : -) I have been really covered up with life events and responsibilities....the Fu had to take a back seat for the last several weeks. I have let my raw intake slip dramatically. Not eating junk but gluten re-arrived.....So today is the first day of "back to normal" whatever that is!!! One thing it means for me is to jump back on to a cleanse routine like I did last winter/spring. And push that devil gluten back out the door again! How are you progressing on your health/raw journey? What kind of improvements are you noticing? I get to wear some of my favorite winter clothes this season!!

Bunny Berry said… - I'm on a family high! I went to a family reunion yesterday, and met cousins I've never met before. It was WONDERFUL. My father is from a big family (I have 27 first cousins on his side alone), and a lot of my aunts and uncles are older. I got to hug my Aunt Jeanette who is turning 80 next month. And I feel so amazing and special to be part of such a strong tribe of family.
It was one of the most amazing things that's happened to me this year!
