My family's raw challenge update! :0)
Hello again! For those of you keeping up with family's raw food challenge, I got some fun stuff to report! Everyone involved is doin' great! Let's start off with my Mom, if you're just now reading this we have had her at the house for 10 days now eating 100% raw foods. Raw Spirit Fest East! :0)
Wow! This past weekend was amazing! I was kickin' it in Maryland for the Raw Spirit Festival East Coast event! It was my first one and I did a food demo so you already know I was freakin' geeked up! Stalking the elusive b12.

Hey everyone! My names' Rory and I'm a certified living foods chef and all around goofy mofo.
I got started in raw foods back in March of '07 and fell in love with the idea of creating amazingly delicious dishes with ridiculously healthy ingredients all without ever turning on the stove! When I first got into raw foods I struggled with (and, being a food nerd since I was a teen, enjoyed) the challenge of preparing these awesome un-cooked dishes because many of the ingredients in the gourmet raw recipes I was finding weren't available locally. So I decided to start concocting my own recipes from stuff that I could find at my local grocery and health food stores. I began sharing these recipes through youtube videos and recieved wonderful feedback on how my recipes were helping others with their raw adventures! This inspired me to later get certified in living foods prep by Jody Allen of Loving Life Cafe and pursue this mission of helping people experience the awesome benefits that I have had since gettin' raw even further. I teach in your home raw food prep classes to give people hands on experience in whipping up all sorts of tasty stuff, I offer info and ideas through my blog at www.rawdawgrory.com, and have recently released my E-Book entitled "Gettin' Raw". I wrote this book with the intention of sharing my easy going and fun aproach to raw foods! In it I share a lot of the benefits of raw foods, how to comfortably transition to eating more raw, and over 100 delicious and doable recipes that anyone interested in raw foods can enjoy! I still continue to share my recipes, healthy living tips and random silliness in my videos and through my website and enjoy helping people get raw'er! :0)
