- Why Do You Want to Join Raw Fu?
- although i first went 'raw' in 1999, i haven't maintained the diet this entire time. i managed to white knuckle a 100% raw-dom for a little over 3 years. then, i fell off my high raw horse straight into a pile of flour and sugar... so i rinsed off with coffee and *whamo!* just like that, i was back trying to wrestle out from underneath S.A.D's grip. anyway - weight on, weight off, weight back on - hating myself, loving myself, back to hating myself. way too many health issues for some one of my youth (only *cough cough* years old). so, this time armed with my support team - my partner, stephen, we headed into the new year (2008) increasing our intake of raw, did 30 days of the global juice feast through march, and came out the other side totally raw (And totally loving it!)!
when i got the invite for 'raw fu' i deleted it. i already tribe.net, facebook, twitter, give it to me raw, we like it raw, (i had recently deleted my other raw profile), and i have a blog i already don't have time for. (working too much and now addicted to twitter - thank you suki.) but then, after a moment i went and found it. first of all, suki sent it to me and you don't delete stuff from suki. the woman is too freaking important to me, and just way too cool not to look at what she's into at the moment (eh hem...). and B) (hee hee) i not only could use the support/community, i've been walking around saying , "i want community." why look, here's one! delete? no!
so my little raw-chickadees, here i appear to be. that is the story. this is why i now raw fu. and you?

i feel like total poo poo.
since bunny's visit, knowing the end was near, i have gained 8 pounds from sugar, and actually, yes, flour. (which means i was "unraw" for the first time in 3 years.) (and yes, 8 pounds in less than a week...
hey! i'm really proud of you bunny! that was quite a confessional!
i binged like a maniac yesterday, knowing that starting today there was going ot be a new sheriff in town.

Thanks for inviting me to eat with you guys- it ended up taking longer than I thought for take-away and I should have sat with you till then.... next time! It's been a loooooong winter. What part of the Buckeye State did you live in? I can certainly understand why you high-tailed it out to CA.
After I watched the video with you and Kevin the other day, I thought of how important it is to feel safe with your colon hydrotherapist. I can honestly say, I think I would feel both comfortable and confident with you inserting a tube up my bum. :D
