I've been watching Dan on youtube for a while. I LOVE LOVE LOVE his videos!!!
lol... I get a little nervous when things are going really good too. Past experiences taught me to be. I called it God's Novocain before the pain. But Bunny is right. We need to enjoy the moment we're in.
The time I tried to grow it I had to keep a clear plastic lid over mine. Once the grass was high enough to lift the lid a bit I had to harvest and refrigerate. I LOVE my cats but I won't eat after them.
I received my book today :-)

Littlewolf said… - ssssssshhh dont tell anyone my ancestors were pagans LOL...I think my family just accepted Christianity but kept all the folk lore and info !! so a lot of what I learn is probably the same as the hedgewitch lore and of pagan origin but the focus became Jesus and God and its was Christianized over time, as my grandfathers family where Irish Bretherine and you cant get more strict and pious than that !! BUt somehow the lore survivied, I find that amazing...as its a real lineage and not a new age eclectric pick and mix, the modern pagan LOL....I have friends who are modern pagans and I must say I have to chuckle sometimes with the stuff they come out with :)

kimberly said… - thank you very much for your post. We do miss jinxy. My husband felt so bad that he went and got two kittens. But the reason we kept jinx was because she was indoor outdoor. She wansn't in the house all the time. My 9 year old have cat allergies. So him getting the kittens set off his allergies which sent him to the doctor which sent me to Walmart to give the kitten's away. So it was a sadness that was two fold. I thought of putting my son on allergie medication but with the flu going around I didn't want his immune system to be low for any reason, that I could help. So alas no cat's in the house. We are sad but we are ok. Thank you for your comment. It's nice to know people care.

Its my intention to be around for this next challenge. I've broken down and turned to conventional medicine to help me deal with some of this stuff that's been going on with me for the last year or so. She's got me on 150,000U of Vitamin D / week plus several meds, and I'm in physical therapy. I do seem to be feeling a little better, a bit more energetic, but she said it will take a month or two before we know for sure if this is working. Meanwhile, more tests . . . . ugh.
