Get off the 811 diet. It is not a healing diet by any means and damages our cells. Too much fruit is bad unless you can eat all natural non hybridized fruit. There is nothing natural about a banana. It has no seeds, can not be planted to make more...
Being on a raw food diet, we do not need to consume so much food as all the nutrients and enzymes are intact. I think the enzymes or key to digestion. Most people overeat cooked food because their bodies are looking and needing enzymes. I do agree...
This is a hard diet to transition to because it is not a really long term healthy diet. If you are running and training for marathons everyday then maybe you can do it. An honestly, if you saw Dr. Doug Graham in person, he looks jittery and terrib...
Hey Bunny-
I started a meetup in my town of Calgary, AB even though there was already one started. I am already at 118 members after a year. I started out by advertising with flyers. I even posted them at Starbucks and people responded! I went to...
youtube Brian Clement on this subject. That diet was comprised over 50 years ago when fruit was not as genetically modified and hybridized as it is today. People have done a lot more research than Ann did back then. Our soils are depleted, our foo...

Hi Tonya! I was wondering if you could please give me you advice.Hi All!
I went to the Dietitian during the week because I've been having a lot of issues since I had my Gallbladder removed. She said that there are 4 groups of foods which I need to stay away from called FODMAPs. I personally think that it's just all the process 'crap' which is giving me all the trouble, but I told to my husband that I'll give this new 'diet' a go for a month & then reassess. I want to keep it as raw as possible, my aim is to eventually be 100% raw, but included in the foods that I need to stay away from are some types of fruits and veggies - I'll list them below but I'm pretty stumped as to what I can actually eat each day....I work best on having breakfast, lunch, a snack & then dinner.....I was thinking maybe some kind of energy soup for breakfast, another type of smoothie for lunch, some gojies & goldenberries as a snack & then a veggie juice for dinner.....thanks, I'm just at a loss as what the have in eacj smoothie etc because of all the foods I have to eliminate.
Fruits I have to avoid:
Apples, pears, watermelon, honeydew, rockmelon, mangos, guavas, figs, quinces, papaya (aka pawpaw), apricots, peaches, nectarines, cherries, plums, dates, coconuts, grapes, persimmons, lychees, and dried fruit
Veggies I have to avoid:
onions, shallots, leek, artichokes, cabbage, brussel sprouts, broccoli, green beans, and garlic
oh and I have to stay away from wheat based products, lentils & honey
Could you please briefly explain Gabriel Cousens' philosophy to me on the raw food lifestyle? Like you, I am having digestive issues, which have become worse over the last week or so.....so think it's time to become serious & go 100%.
Most people who go from SAD to raw do well in the beginning. Just like me. I am now on a 92 day juice feast to heal digestive issues, which most of us have. I have been doing raw for 4 years and my hubby and I own a health foood store and perform live blood analysis and find people who are on 811 feel terrbile and their blood shows it. We really recommend Gabriel Cousens and Brian Clement.
So what does a typical day look like for you food wise? Are you saying fruit is bad for us? I was on a 100% raw diet 6 months ago for 40 days or so & felt FANTASTIC, but was also having nuts etc everyday. Then I was really unwell & haven't been able to get back on track since. I am really confused by the different aspects of the raw movement - one says eat manly frut, one says cut back on fruit.....
