Why Do You Want to Join Raw Fu?
I began this raw food lifestyle suddenly one day (12*6*07) after seeing Angela Stokes poi dancing video! Random? Yeah. It brought me to her website and that was the beginning of raw food in my life... I've been health conscious and an avid learner of all things health related for over 20 years now, and am loving the renewed youth and vigor raw food nutrition has brought to my body and mind! My kids swear that I'm younger now than I was 2 years ago, and I have to agree! :D

I'm a happy person by nature. And passionate about life. I was born and raised in Los Angeles/ Orange County. My husband is military and we've just been transplanted to Louisiana and love it so far.

I am currently coaching a 6 week program for people wanting to transition to greater health/ vitality, as well as putting together a teleseminar and writing a book. Whew, yeah. ;P Having a blast!

We have four children: ds 23 who is now married to a beautiful lady (see below) March 15th of last year and who have given us the pleasure of holding our very first grandson this year! dd 21 currently out in SoCal with my folks. dd 19 still at home (Yay! :D). And, last of the mohichans, ds 14 going on 25. We homeschooled the last 3 kids, and currently the youngest is reentering the public school system in a desperate desire to play football, lol. I have wanted for years to be involved in helping people change their lives through diet, exercise, etc. I have been looking for my niche... and I am finally moving into health transitions coaching. I am blessed...
Are you in the Monroe, La area and interested in feeling better, looking better, being informed and active in your health? It's my desire to meetup with like-minded individuals. I am a health transitions coach recently moved into Monroe.

I'd love to have fitness challenges, cooking/ uncooking classes, stress management classes, etc. as a part of this Vibrant Health Meetup.

Thanks a bunch! I could talk about it for hours. Long years to convince women not to conform to things they don't really like or want and still do mainly to be accepted - by other women, men, friends, parents, co-workers, who knows who. I love this community! What do you think?

The Moon Pie Festival is a trip! I don't indulge, however. My best friend in first grade told me she ate one before bed and spent the entire night holding onto the bedpost to keep herself from floating up to the Moon. So I got a bunch of them, gorged, got sick and never floated one inch toward the Moon, dang it. So I have had a lifelong aversion.

I will probably miss you if you head for Cali. I envy you! I made my first real trip there last September, to SanFran and south, and I felt at home in a way I rarely do. It changed my whole life plan really, set me to pondering the possibilities. Good luck!

I've been having a lot of nuts too lately, and I CRAVE coconut but I can't seem to get good coconut here...still looking though. I think I've been eating a bit too much fruit for this stage of the transition to raw, because I've been getting really bloated and....erm...gassy?? Does this happen with you at all? It seems to calm down if I don't combine greens and fruit...

I'm doing okay...the stress is really on with school (final month of the semester culminating in finals). But I thrive on stress, to a point, so I'm just trying to channel it into positive energy! :) How are you? Is the place you live REALLY called "bell buckle"!? Amazing, if so...
