Lilmraw - Do you know by chance if you can eat the leaves that surround the cauliflower? I have a bunch and thought it might work in a smoothie. My neighbors takes our zucchini leaves and uses them steamed for a Korean dish.
Thanks so much for the 123 plan, and the other suggestion you provided about having a juice, smoothie, salad. These were very helpful to me, because I am scared of starting the challenge (and been overeating cooked food due to anxiety, because I am scared of another failed thing in my life right now...) I wanted to start the challenge early, but I seem to be getting worse as it gets closer not better...YUCK. Anyways, these plans make it seem doable in my eyes...Now I need some willpower...
My partner and I are going to try to finish writing up our business plan this week so we can apply for a grant so we can hopefully take this to the next level...........as our hubby's bless their hearts, are not real supportive as they are not really sold on the whole raw thing..........
or at least of the idea that their is a market it for it here in the mid-west.......it can be a struggle with them at times..........:(
When I get some money saved up I want to get one of those indoor garden growning things. I forget what they are called but I've seen them advertise on TV.
But first things first. Have to pay of this debt from trying to start a business.
LOL . . I think I'm reading your comments backwards!
The weather here is fine right now, thank goodness.
And no I haven't read the book . . I've heard of squarefoot gardening before, years ago, and wanted to try it but then I guess I sort of forgot about it until you brought it up again! I've bookmarked the site and this winter will pour over the book (it'll be too depressing to do it now as it's too late in the season).
