Personally, I think cayenne/hot peppers are beneficial food/medicine. I am wary of across the board statements. I also agree that different things work for different people. Nuts are good for me, but highly allergenic for others, for example. Just...
Dear Lisa, One of the basic rules of cleansing is that one's bowels must be working at least 3x per day...regularly!! If your bowels are sluggish/constipated all that you are cleansing willnot be able to exit your body thru the bowel. You are goin...
It is totally working as an anti-inflammatory and pain killer for me (and many others). I am so grateful that I can use something natural with no side effects to treat myself instead of relying on toxic levels of drugs!

Maybe the cayenne is working in a similar way to Advil/Aleve.

Thanks for the reply. I'm really not sure what to do, juice/mc. Juice does appeal to me more, just because I try to get really faint if I don't have enough...but I know juice is meant to be made fresh and I need my husband to make it for me, he works full-time so it wouldn't be completely fresh if he made a days worth for me before going to work. Maybe I should just try the mc & see how it goes. All I know is that my digestive system needs a HUGE rest. Tell me more about your fast....did you stick to one flavour more of the time? How long did you do it for? Did you loose any weight? Did it 'clean' you out? And did you do salt water flushes while you were doing the fast?
