I use Dr. Bronner's Almond or lavender. I also find it too drying, so I use a different organic shampoo daily, but use Dr. B's once a week to rid my hair of any build up. I have not noticed any film/residue from Dr. Bronner's on anything. I also u...
I had that the last time I went raw the first and second weeks. I think I did too much of the nuts/seeds initially and my body didn't like it. This time I did am adding them much slower and I have not had that issue near as much. It has been much ...
Nicole, I would love to hear what research you find, bc cheese is the hugest downfall for me. I cannot get past it. Maybe because I haven't found a substitute that seemed close enough to the real thing. Even if it was just to transition thru the c...
I was able to go 90% Raw nearly a year ago and felt I was at my healthiest ever. I was at a good weight for me and had more energy than ever before. However, I found it difficult to stay Raw in a home where I have the spectrum of eaters from cooked meat to vegan. It is most difficult to learn to cook for a family this way. I am here because I found Bunny on youtube and I love her honesty! I would like to get ideas from those who have been here before me! to gain insight, tips support, information, recipes, commonality/community... guidance, encouragement.

Hi, Shelli! Great to see you here! There are almost 200 raw foodies in Indy, and the numbers are growing. If you're ever going to be in town, let me know! Would love to meet you in person.

Hey hey...Indeed it is nice to see someone else from the same state. Thank you for the warm welcome, and my apologies for not getting to you sooner!
You're welcome...sorry some of the pics didn't come through...I hope all the links worked! I'm in the process of getting it set up on a blog, but it's taking longer than expected...
...so how's your raw weekend? My fridge is overflowing with tons of produce (very different for me!) & I can't decide what to make first! Lol!
Hi Shelli,
I only know of one Raw food support group in Indy, but since I'm about 45-55 minutes away, it isn't really convenient for me. I, too, have a family to cook for that eats "regular food", meaning meat, cheese, cooked items, etc. My two younger sons are Gluten Free and Dairy Free, like me, but can only handle so much Raw food:) So, I feel your pain in trying to maintain your Raw life and give your family what they need! Good luck with your journey, glad to meet you on here:)
