As the start date of the challenge creeps up on me I am getting a little nervous about all of the food preparation. I cook more than most of my friends, but I am not really a "foodie" by any means. I am concerned about cooking dinner for Buddy since he's such a must-eat-meat kind of person. Honestly, I am not too happy about this right now. It's not that I am trying to push him to do what I am doing but it sure would make things easier for me since I do the shopping and cooking. Oh well.
So, my goals for the first 10 days:
1. Plan my meals and snacks (including as much pre-chopping as possible).
2. Have in mind what I am cooking for Buddy so I don't freak out on him when he's expecting me to cook dinner.
3. Accept that our food choices are just different and don't try to "convert" him in any way.
4. Keep it simple!
5. Designate Zephyr and Spike as the offical raw taste testers and clean-up crew.
Ten days and five goals... I should stop there. No need to overwhelm myself with all things I am hoping to do during the next 100 days. For me - baby steps.
