100 Day Raw Food Challenge

Wow! 4 lbs lost since the challenge began 10 days ago, and 26 lbs since transitioning to raw foods 2 months ago. It seems the more raw food I eat, the more the scale shifts downward. The days I'm 90 -100% raw are the days I lose weight. If I eat cooked foods, I don't lose anything. I'm weighing in every other day, which I know is too often, but it's been a great way to keep me motivated and focused and I can really see the difference that more raw food makes. With this knowledge in hand I can feel secure with a weekly weigh in. I am down one size from 22 to 20, and down a bra size, Yay! Had to buy new clothes yesterday since nothing in my closet fits :-)

I've walked 5 times this week for an hour or more each day.

I began adding some spirulina to my green smoothies each morning and I have more energy. I am loving a new salad of finely chopped dark leafy greens including kale, beet greens, spinach with fresh corn, carrots, peppers and onion all dressed in a little lime, Celtic sea salt and tiny bit of olive oil. This meal is so satisfying.

The last few days I've been eating:
1 - big green smoothie
2-3 pieces of fruit
1 big dark green salad
Sunflower seed cheese (mine looks like pate) and cucumber relish on veggies

Had a big bout of sugar cravings a few days ago that was cured by 2 teaspoons of cocoa nibs and agave nectar. After experiencing this delicious natural chocolate, I don't think I can ever go back to eating the packaged stuff.

What an exciting time for you and new cloths to boot! I can't wait for a new bra size!!!!!!!
